I bought the freezer a little over a year ago and it still works great. I called the manufacture because I wanted to buy a special part not included with the freezer because I wanted to keep the freezer outside on a covered patio. I'm happy to say that I received great costumer service from the manufacture. Great product.
Much easier to "fill" than the bigger one we had to try and fill
Unit is very quiet and the size of 7 cu ft is just perfect for the intended use. Product was delivered and received quickly with no scratches. Very happy about that as there were many reviews where such products were delivered with some dents. Since the unit is but a few weeks old my rating is just based on this length of time. True proof of the product reliability would be a year or so later after the warranty period.
fits easily in any small space, works great and very quiet
I've only had this a month or 2 now so I give it 5 stars with a grain of salt, but it is working fine so far and very quiet. I have the temp control at midpoint and that is plenty cold (the unit is in my basement so a bit cooler than main floor). It is the perfect size for a small family. When this house was renovated they only left enough space for an 18 cu ft fridge; no extra space on either side. This freezer allows me to store a bit more food without an avalanche every time I open the freezer door. I'm very pleased so far.

This seems to be well built. Even though it got knocked around a little when it was put into service, it still worked fine. Love the size, it fits well just about any where. Easy to reach into. Keeps food nice and cool. Quite running.
Freezes well. Could use some baskets for the main area. Runs a lot.
cheaply made and I'm in doubt as to the long term use of this unit. Hate to support over seas manufacturing.
The freezer ran for less than three months before it stopped making cold enough air to keep anything inside it frozen. By the time we noticed, we had lost almost everything that was in it! A technician came out to fix it, but declared it "unfixable" and told us we would be getting a replacement. There was lots of bad news that went with that, though. We would need to wait three to four weeks for the replacement and we would be responsible for paying to get rid of the defective freezer as well as paying the postage to send them the last six inches of the freezer's electrical cord. Not really looking forward to the replacement, because I have my doubts about how long it will last. I will never buy anything from Midea again and it is unlikely I'd buy anything, at least nothing I would hope would last, from Walmart, either.
