These are what noodles are supposed to be. They're very flavorful and hold texture perfectly. Just look at the ingredients and you'll see that simple is better. I'll be buying these again!
These are about the best egg noodles I've found. Nice flavor, they don't fall apart, no pasty texture. It did take longer than the directions say to cook all the way through but that was fine, just more time to soak up the chicken broth. These are going to be my go to noodles for chicken casserole and beef and noodle soup.
The 3 bags of wide noodles were wrapped together in cellophane, placed in a large box with bottles of laundry detergent, fabric softener, canned vegetables and other heavy items. "Airpillows" were placed inside to prevent damage, however, the pillows were not secured around items nor kept in place in any way. The noodles and potato chips inside the box were crushed. The noodles themselves are outstanding. When cooked they are like homemade. Think you can almost use them a "dumplings" for dishes.
Delicious perfect noodles for homemade chicken soup! Wide and hearty. My husband's favorite. They cook nice and hold up well weekend taking leftovers for lunch at work. When it come to my husband it is like "Would you like some soup with your noodles?"They are his favorite part.
As a kid I went to Ohio every Summer for 2 weeks to visit my Grandmother and relatives. When we were there she always made hand rolled and cut egg noodles to make her chicken and noodles for a family reunion. To get the same taste I have had to make mine until now. These are spot on to the taste and I don't have to hassle with making them unless I want them fresh. Absolutely delicious and you won't regret trying them.
You can find all types of noodles, but these wide noodles are the best, except from scratch. Never buy any other brand.
These are by FAR the best noodles I have found for amazing chicken noodle soup. For pasta, I make my own noodles, but the dough is a bit too delicate for aoups or stews. Regular dried pasta is too thin for a hearty soup. These Amish noodles? Amazing. They are dense enough to give heft anf keep form, but are still soft, tasty, and just perfect for soups and stews since they need a little more cooking time. Also great in a crockpot. Simmer your soup and add these in the last hour or so until desired softness.

I'm writing this review in hopes Essenhaus will contact Walmart and address their shipping issues. I ordered three bags of noodles and they were shipped in a big box and unprotected from larger, heavier items that turned all three bags into crumbs. I can't find a place to write a complaint about Walmart's shipping issues. I can't use noodle crumbs.
Many of the noodles were crumbled in the bag (my fault for not noticing), but even the whole ones split and cracked as cooked. I ended up with a pan full of cooked noodle chips. Aweful.
