In the past I've tried advanced healing lotions, but they never did the job on my hands like I thought it would. But when I first found this hand cream, I decided to buy it and give it a try. When I started using it, it made a difference on my hands. Now my hands are softer, smoother, and healthier. For years my left hand has been dry, cracked, and scaly. That's what got me into buying this hand cream. But my right hand, it was never like that. But when I use this hand cream, I put it on both hands. And by the way, this hand cream really works great, and I would recommend it to everybody who has dry, cracked, and scaly hands.
This is my favorite hand lotion. I started working in a hospital so I wash my hands constantly. This lotion I can still feel in my skin even after two to three washes. Most lotion doesn't penetrate the skin, so this is impressive. I just wish it came in a larger size that I could put in my locker.
Why change?! Not the same formula! I also have a major issues with multiple bottles I have. I have some bottles that are before the red cap but after the original bottle I have used for a long time. These bottles smell awful!!! Like licorice (not good). I specifically buy this product based on the fact that it is fragrance free, that's not what I would consider frangrance free if it reeks of some weird licorice scent!
I was glad to discover Eucerin Intensive repair hand cream about a year ago. Unfortunately, when I returned to the store recently to buy more I discovered that the packaging had changed. When I got home and used it I discovered it was not just the packaging! It is now thinner and less effective. It's not worth the money any longer. DISAPPOINTED.
I have been using Eucerin Intensive repair extra- enriched hand crème for several years. It works very well and no greasy feel. After trying the Advanced Repair I am very disappointed! It is not near as good as the old formula. Please bring the old formula back or I will have to find another product!
Last year when I ran out of the Intensive Repair hand creme (light blue cap) I ran all over town trying to find it. After no avail, I purchased this one thinking maybe it was the same they just changed the cap color and name. It is NOT the same. Eucerin may claim that it is the same or new and improved, but while it may be new it is NOT improved. I live in a pretty cold, harsh climate. The winters kill my hands and absolutely nothing worked except the intensive repair hand creme. It would make my hands feel so soft and it healed the dry cracked skin. I really tried to like the "new" advanced repair creme, but it works like any other lotion or hand creme. Or should I say, it doesn't work. It does not feel like it goes deep into the skin to moisturize and heal. I can apply it all day and my hands are not soft, and they are still dry, cracked, and bleeding (from the cracks). Needless to say, the tube purchased last year has been sitting in my cupboard half-used since last winter because it does not work at all. What a waste of money. I wish Eucerin would bring back the old Intensive Repair formula.
I've tried to get used to the new formula for the hand cream, and I finally just gave up. It's very greasy, it smells, and most of all, it just doesn't repair and protect my dry hands like the formula with the blue cap used to. Yes, there are other products on the market and I guess I'll have to transition into one of them, especially since Winter is beginning to settle in and the air inside buildings will be drier. What a shame that Eucerin changed this.
Loved the Eucerin PLUS Intensive repair hand creme! Why come out with a greasy product to replace the original? Sadly, I guess I will have to shop other brands. So disappointed. Also, why can't I read the reviews others have left? I click it and nothing happens.
This isn't NEARLY as good as the original Intensive Repair Hand Creme (with the light blue top). This hardly works for my dry hands even in the summer and feels greasier than the original formula. They say it's the original formula, but I am looking at the ingredients of the original right now and it differs, albeit slightly. Point is, don't waste your money on this. Eucerin needs to read the reviews and bring back the original formula. Now I have to find a new hand cream company.
PLEASE go back to the old formula.... Many, many people all agree that the original formula was much better. This new formula is not as thick and doesn't work nearly as well. This cream has always been a lifesaver for my hands in the dry climate I live in and the sports I play. I have gifted it to so many people who have made it their favorite cream. It is unlike any other product I've ever used... and now you've changed it! PLEASE go back to the old formula.
