The Eufy floodlight 2k camera is just I needed for my home security peace of mind. Initially when I received it, it only lasted less than a day, after it updated itself in the middle of the night. Install was straightforward and simple, and was amazed at the picture quality of the camera and the brightness of the lights. However, the next morning when I checked my iPad to see if it captured any event, I couldn’t get it to connect online. I know it’s not my Wi-Fi, so I tried to reset by powering it off and on, but still couldn’t connect. Called Eufy support and she walked me into resync the camera, but no response, just a solid red light. We agreed that the auto firmware update may have ‘bricked’ the camera and she recommended a warranty replacement. They didn’t even ask for the 1st camera to be returned, they just sent me a replacement, I thought that was great of Eufy. After receiving the replacement camera, all seems to be working fine and it also demonstrated to me what a great standup company Eufy is to stand behind their products to correct any flaws. I would highly recommend this Brand and their products for the picture quality and reliable connection to the camera from work or on vacations. The human only detection really works and I can’t get over the 2k resolution picture quality.
I sat on buying one of these for a while. I've been using the wireless doorbell and a couple older 1080p cams on the house for a couple years. I previously was using an Arlo system, which was horrific. I like the local storage and reliability of the Eufy stuff. Finally the price went down to 150 and I jumped on it. What an awesome experience so far. I put it up a couple weeks ago and it has been great. I set up a zone for motion detection and it's pretty spot on. The notifications work great and the picture is perfect. I was initially worried about the small on board storage but it's more than enough. The light is super bright and you can controll the brightness and turn it on/off with Google Assistant or just use the motion activation, which is very responsive. Love this and glad I finally made the purchase!
Install was quick and easy with the thorough instructions provided. I definitely would not consider myself handy, but I was able to get it unboxed and installed in about 30 minutes. Since installing it, motion detection has been spot on with timely notifications to my phone. Only thing was that I had mine installed over the driveway, and the light is always turned on when a car is driving by. I tried lowering the sensitivity of the light sensor, but it seems to trigger regardless. Overall though would definitely recommend to anyone looking to beef up their home security without having to worry about paying for cloud storage.
I was able to set up the equipment and make it work. Thats a bonus because i am NOT tech savvy
I like this product due to not having a subscription tethered to the equipment. I highly recommend it for those that are looking for a quality system. There are a lot of reviews on it and despite the lack of cloud services, the storage is manageable from the app.

Can't explain it. Neither can the Eufy technical support folks. Camera works EXCEPT for the live feed. Sometimes the live feed works sometimes it doesn't. What is perplexing is that when the Live Feed is NOT coming through - the camera will record 'events' that I can play back. Rebooted the camera. Deleted the app and reinstalled. Powered down and restarted. All to no avail. Doesn't make sense. Why would it record 'events' but not display the Live Feed? VERY frustrating. Have an upgraded Cam 2 Pro in the front of my house and there are no issues with the feed at all. Has anyone else experienced this?
bad customer service. It took a month for one item travel from 1000 miles. The price does not match after sale. i cannot return or get discount
Got it last week to replace my old good wall mounted light, but right now I am not sure, whether it was a good idea. I become notifications in the night, but light doesn’t work. I am able to turn it on manually, but it is not enabled when motion is detected. I guess the problem is with light sensor settings, but there is no way one can change the sensibility
I purchased a Eufy floodlight camera and loved it for the first year. However, soon after the 12 month warranty expired, the lights began strobing, it was super annoying to everybody, so I disabled the lights. When I contacted Eufy support, they didn't try to fix it at all. They offered a 20% coupon for a replacement. What a joke. Avoid.
