We originally registered for the Nest. After 2 nights, we knew we needed to try something else because 1) signal kept cutting off due to WiFi, 2) picture quality was low and couldn’t tell if baby’s eyes were open or closed and 3) poor sound quality due to use of sound machine to help baby sleep. This Eufy baby monitor is AWESOME. Great picture quality, large screen, and nice sound quality. So glad we made the switch.
The description says it does not support remote tilt or pan. I thought I was going to manually have to move the camera and leave it. But you can control the angle of the camera from the monitor. The picture is not as clear as VAVA but for the price it’s great! It has awesome range, I can be outside on the trampoline with my boys and still be able to see my daughter sleep. Battery life seems really good.
This is a great little monitor. The design allows for monitor to sit upright on flat surface. The picture quality is great and night vision works excellent! The only thing I would change is you can’t reposition the picture remotely. You have to go in the room (risking waking the person) and position it then walk back in the other room to see if position is correct because if you get the camera and monitor to close together (like in same room) it makes a high frequency screech.

We use this monitor with our second child as we had issues with The leading brand in the market with our first child. We were happy with the ability to turn the monitor on and off quickly which was another issue we experienced with other brands. Overall, when working this monitor gets you what you need. However, Just after the year mark, we started having issues with the battery and also the charger. The company would not provide us with replacements for either the battery or charger as we were no longer in warranty. We did purchase a new charger elsewhere for a few dollars, but now we have to live with a monitor with 30 mins to an hour of battery capacity keeping us tied to an outlet. Again, great option while it functions properly; but don’t expect it to last the duration or your need…even for one kid.
We had this monitor less then a year and it doesn’t hold a charge anymore. It starts beeping as soon as it becomes un plugged. Being a busy first time mom I didn’t reach out to customer service until after 12 month warranty and they were not able to replace the obvious defected product. I wouldn’t recommend this monitor if you plan on moving it room to room.
After only 15 months of owning this monitor the battery is completely discharged and there is no way to change it of course. The only option is to buy a whole new monitor. The company was not helpful and offered us nothing for a monitor that was built to fail in a very short period of time. Do not buy!
We owned this monitor for only 15 months and it stopped working. The battery doesn’t hold a charge after being unplugged.
