Exactly what I was looking for!

I wanted a "stick broom" sweeper, basically to chase after the cat and clean up his messes. This works like a charm. It picks up litter and chow from my vinyl floor and low pile carpet when I extend the handle. I'm short (5'2") so the handle is the perfect height for me. When I shorten it I can vacuum table tops and bed (I have no stairs). It picks up his hair, too!

Great vacuum for quick clean ups

I purchased this stick vacuum to use primarily on bare floors. It is lightweight and very easy to handle with an exceptionally long cord. It works very well on kitchen or bathroom floors and also is effective on getting crumbs, etc on carpets. It is so nice not to have to get out my big vacuum each day.

Bought this vacuum as a toy

I know this will sound strange, but I bought this for my two-year-old son. He is very mechanical and sneaky. He already broke one vacuum and was trying to go after the second. We watch him, but like I said, he is SNEAKY and super super smart. He isn't being malicious, just really wants to take things apart, and he wants to use the vacuum. We've tried getting him the toy versions of things, but he prefers "real" stuff. My son is just over three feet tall, so too short for a "real" vacuum. This vacuum is perfect for him. It is lightweight and has an adjustable handle. A HUGE bonus feature - unless the handle is extended fully, the canister will not open. Great for a toddler, as long as I never let him watch me open it lol. It's also a bit quieter than a full size vacuum. The down side: It doesn't work very well. So, it's a great toy, but not such a great vacuum.

How much better does it get for 15 bucks?

This has got to be the best value in the world, not to mention what a great and handy little vacuum this is. I have hardwood floors and some rugs, and in a flash this little gizmo picks it all up. It is bagless, so all you have to do is empty the container with a very slightly dampened paper towel, wipe around it and you're good to go for the next time. This is the third Eureka Stick Vacuum I've had in over 20 years. The only reason I did not give it a 5 is because the cord could be longer. If I want to do a whole room, I need an extension cord. Other than that, I love this product and the fast service that Walmart provides!

Can't go wrong for $20

I bought this stick vac to replace a much more expensive Electrolux "Ergorapido" that looks really cool, is rechargeable and has a feature where the "dustbuster' part of it unsnaps so it's dual purpose. These things sell for over $100 but I got mine on some close out a couple of years ago for $50. Worked well until a month ago and I discovered the rechargeable batteries were dying out after a few minutes of using the vacuum. So I took the thing apart to find 10 or 12 batteries neatly tucked away in the housing of the dustbuster portion. I though if I could find replacement batteries I could rebuild it. These are industrial type rechargeables and are soldered together in series. Well the cheapest I could find would have cost me around $40 just for the batteries, so I was not ready to invest the money and time on that unit. I looked for a cheap alternative since I primarily use it to clean up after my grandkids in the kitchen. So I tried the Eureka Bagless Boss for $20 and it works fine. The cord is a little short but that's no biggie. It has good suction, not too noisy and very light weight. I figure it's easier to use than a broom and since it plugs into the electrical socket, I wont have to worry about battery life.

Good for the price

It is lightweight and has a heavy duty cord that doesn't tangle. The suction is ok for dust bunnies but doesn't get real close to the floor for finer dust. It's great for stairs though! Just the right width. Works well for cleaning up cat litter off the hard floors when I just need to do a quick tidy up. Small for easy storage in my coat closet. I got the red for $9, which was less than the other colors and I really like the color.

I did not get one with the crevice tool as described in the original ad and the manual shows it with a crevice tool as well. There is not a crevice tool with this model. It is very small, a hand held mini vacuum with a head and a handle. The plus side is because I am disabled it is effective for small jobs.

I knew for the price it wouldn't be exceptional. What was poor? The directions. The top and the bottom part were difficult to figure out how to stay together. Everytime I tried to extend the handle, they fell apart. I finally got it to work, but I'm very careful how I use it so it doesn't fall apart and drop the dirt all over the place again.

I read over 20 reviews for this vacuum and they all said this was a great small vacuum, picked up really well for such a small light weight vacuum. So imagine my surprise when I got it home and it didn't even pick up a piece of thread or a piece of cracker. I thought maybe I had to unpack something or remove something, but that was not the case. So I returned this as quickly as I could.
