I have an iPhone and want to turn on and off our floor lamp from my iPhone. I also want to know the energy consumption. Eve Systems has been making Smart Home devices for iPhone for many years, and I didn't hesitate to buy this Smart Plug called Eve Energy. I have been very pleased with it so far. Setting it up was as easy as it can get, and now I can turn on and off our lamp from iPhone. Easy! I have AppleTV as a HomeKit home hub, which allows me to reach Eve Energy even when I am away. I can also schedule on/off, or when I come home after dark, Eve Energy turns on automatically once I am in the proximity of our house so that we don't have to go into a pitch-black house. I can't think of anything I don't like. Eve products are known for high quality, and it comes with 100% privacy guarantee. I highly recommend Eve Energy.
I've used a variety of 'smart' outlets over the years, and these are by far the best. In particular, they react to control signals much more reliably than the Wemo and iHome outlets that I have. Simple to set up with the Eve app, and integrated with the Apple Home stuff, so I can control them from anywhere. Love the ability to monitor power consumption and costs too. Highly recommended.
