We purchased this set for my grand-daughter over 6 mos ago. It has made my life much easier.I drive a family sized car and it fits well behind my drivers seat. Easy to store, I carry the stroller in my car trunk often. We also purchased the matching pack and play and the highchair. It makes a beautiful set. We have been very pleased with our purchases.
I looked for a stroller for quite a while and was even given another stroller at a baby shower. I chose to take that stroller back and get a credit that I used towards this stroller. I loved the fabric that I saw online, and I love it in person. This stroller is so nice to use. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but I think that it has a lot of cool features. The front wheels have a little shock absorbtion feature that makes the whole stroller seem to handle really smoothly. I also love the one-handed steering feature. How many times have I needed that in the past with my other girls and have had to struggle to keep a stroller going in the right direction! Overall a very nice stroller with lots of great features.
We love this product! The only thing is that the stroller is a little bigger than most other strollers so it doesn't fit in the trunk of a car. Other than that this product is absolutley wonderful! The fabric is very nice.
I am on baby #4 and this is the worst system I have ever owned! Let me start with the car seat itself. The baby fits fine and there is plenty of padding, HOWEVER that is all that is nice about the seat. I have a minivan so there is more room than a car. The car seat will not fit! I have to scoot the passenger seat WAY up to the dash so it will fit. Then the car seat is horrible to get off the base! The poor baby is jostled and jerked around while I struggle with it! Ok, the stroller. Nice and tall, roomy, padded well. Again, this is also BIG, heavy and bulky! It takes up all of the room in the back of the minivan! This system might be ok in a large SUV but definately not for small cars or minivans!
My daughter is 11 months old and we have used this stroller maybe 4 times. The problem? It is WAY too bulky. It doesnt even fit into the trunk. However, when we do use it, it is extremely comfortable for Riley. The infant seat was also very nice but the sunshade on it was very small. Overall I think you can find a better stroller for a lot cheaper.
I received this travel system as a gift. I got the Cognac color, which I loved (can't really tell if it's dirty) for my little girl. The set up was very easy. I really liked the swing out infant tray. Makes it a lot easier to get the child in and out. It is very easy to steer with one hand and the large wheels make for a smooth ride. But, I was disappointed to learn that the infant car seat is rear facing ONLY. There is no way to install forward facing once child is old enough and weighs enough. Also, I recently went on an airplane with it and I had to lug the base and the car seat as the car seat does not have the seat belt groves like my previous car seat. Also, the stroller is not very sturdy. I've used it for less than six months going to and from the car for short errands. The retractable tray dosen't stay retraced when the stroller is collasped for storage. When I lift the stroller to put it in my car, it flips out and gets banged up. The storage bin under the stroller is very large, but my diaper bag kept getting caught on the smaller front pocket of the storage bin and the pocket is now torn. I have since purchased a Fischer Price Sit and Stand. My new stroller is usable with an infant car seat, but only those with seat belt groves. I wish we could see the instructions before we purchase these things.
