This wasnt the one I orignally wanted but for the price is great. There were only 2 draw backs, first off the assembly wasnt easy and the 2nd is that the padding for the bassinet is not real sturdy. It tends to sink down in the middle where my daughter sleeps , so Im having my husband cut some plywood ( hes a carpenter) to put in there for added support. Other than that I love it. It serves its purpose for the price
It is a very elegant playpen....I havent had a chanc to use it yet but it seems sturdy enuff. It didnt come with instructions so if you buy it.....beware lol.
My son and his wife received this as a gift, and remarked how easy it is to assemble, and fold up to travel. I purchased one for a friend of mine who is due in November.
Its a little difficult to get the sides to collapse at times, but I think thats a good thing. I wouldn't want my daughter to be able to do it on accident. My daughter loves to play in here.
I got this as a Baby Shower Gift and when I first went to set it up I was like DUH but after I figured it out it was easy to do. My Oldest Daughter had picked it out and I LOVE IT! But, I have yet to use it as my Youngest Daughter isn't due until December 25th, 2007
I really liked this product except for the fact that the there are no corner flaps to hold down the mattress. My daughter figured out within minutes how to pull up the velcro and fold up the mattress while she was still in it. On the Grace ones and more expensive evenflo play yards there are little things in the corner to prevent that you have to pull up the mattress from the middle. But for traveling etc it worked well Nicer bag than Graco.
Very cute design, sleek lines, well made. The only thing I would want changed on it is that the pad cover is very loose fitting. I would prefer for the pad cover to fit very snug. I don't believe that it could hause harm to my child but it would make me feel better at least.
For the price, this is a great buy! The mattress is a little thin, so if your little one is going to be spending much sleeping time in it, it might not be as comfortable as a more expensive one with a little bit thicker pad. My kids spend their "play time" in it, and it works just great!
Hard to set up the first time. Bassinet feature is a total pain. First you have to put the poles together, then figure out which goes where. The pad for the bottom and the bassinet is not firm causing it to sink in the middle even with the support poles. Dosen't move on wheels well. Cute pattern and that is about it. I'd choose Graco over Evenflo if I had it to do over!
I have not used this yet due to not having my baby yet but I couldn't wait to put it together. And in doing so I have realized that the mattress is very cheap, flimsy and cardboard like so I don't know how long this is going to last. I guess you get what you pay for beings it was only $53.
