Bought this for my 4 month old grandson. I am overall very pleased with it and he enjoys spinning and discovering. The only complaint is that he at 4 months my be a little young for this. He is sitting up assisted but is still a little wobbly at times and has hit his face several times on the bear attached to the electronic play pad that stands out directly in front of him. In our case probably should have waited a month or so. Make sure baby is stable enough to avoid bumping heads with the toys!
I read a lot of the reviews and my only gripe so far is that it is a pain to put together. I did it by myself and it took a good hour to put it together. I did not know about the whole minimize and carry feature. PLUS!!! I was concerned about the whole surfing bear being an issue since so many comments on it were made. I could understand if the child has poor head control and is not ready for the saucer. But most importantly ALL toys are removable and the little surfing bear is the easiest to take off. My son is four months and this is at the moment the only thing to occupy him for a while. He loves it.
My daughter has had this exersaucer since december! she loves it, she was only a month and a half when we received it so we used it as the playmat first and she enjoyed it. She loves to jump and play with all the toys on this exersaucer... i'm sad that she's starting to get too big because now what am i going to do to get my chores done LOL!
It's just awsome that I can leave my baby in it and go do other chores! By the time I'm done, he's jumped so much that the only thing he wants to do is take a nap! HE LOVES IT!
This is by far one of the best purchases we have made for our little girl. Most exersaucers were around $30-$40 more expensive and yet my daughter has tried out a few of the more expensive styles at friends' houses and we still prefer this one. The set up took a while and it was very helpful to have a drill gun with a driver bit. Our daughter is 4 1/2 months old and has become noticeably stronger after a couple of weeks. We have even purchased a few Evenflo Switch-a-roo toys to give her a little variety. The soft base on this particular model is much nicer and less bulky than the plastic bases on other exersuacers.
I would definelty recommend this saucer. I was Skeptical at first when i read some of the other comments. But my son has obsolutely loved it since he was 4 months! My husband put it together so it was not hard at all!! LOL! And has far as the little bear goes, he has not hit his head on it yet, he just like to put it in his mouth. Love this product!!
I work in an early childhood center and the infants in our care love this exersaucer. It was a little pricey. We did have a some trouble putting in one of the activity pieces, but other than that it wasn't too hard to put together, just a little time consuming.
My son loves to bounce in this toy and it bounces very easily, but he didnt realy like the toys hanging over his head so I took that off and replaced it with the interchangeable toys from his highchair. The soft bottom allows him to move around without socks.
The exerciser ultra was timely to assemble (it took me an hour). The overhead bar is too low - the stuffed animals that hang from it hit my daughter's head and she's only 3 and 1/2 months and 21 inches long. Most of the toys are not positioned closely enough to the sides for the child's easy access. My kit was missing some hardware as well. The toys are OK, but not great. The colors are good but the toys are overly heavy and clumsy. Unless their "plugged in," your child will probably not play with the toys individually. They are even clumsy for ME to handle. The spinning thing must way 1/4 a lb. Sheesh.
my daughter is 4 months old and seems to love this product, however she really loves music and you can bearly hear the "tunes", she pulls the bar to play the music over and over which is why i really wish it were louder, and the main reason i bought this, so that is misleading in the description, you definatley need this toy especially if noise is a problem!!!
