When we came across this product at first we thought it looked cheap. We were wrong, it doesn't look cheap at all. The stroller was bought for our first baby(a Girl) and was pleased to see that this set can be bought for a Girl or a Boy. I highly doubt that anyone will confuse our daughter for a Boy because of the color of the stroller if she's dressed all in pink! or vice versa. The color in the image looks BLACK, but it's not it is a dark navy color with dark NAVY pinstripe lines going up and down and across with a light grey as a background color, the wider stripe is NOT RED, it is a dark pumpkin orange color. The stroller was easy to put together(about 10 mins), it comes with a base for the car seat (base can be left in the car). The base is a little tricky but gets easier the more you use it and the car seat easily clips on and off onto the stroller. The one handed handle is GENIUS!, perfect for when you're drinking something or talking on the cell while pushing the stroller. It also has a big undercarriage for other baby needs you might need to bring OR your purse/diaper bag!, this particular model has cup holders as well. When the stoller is folded up(without the car seat clipped on...of course) it is extremely lightweight, the car seat/carrier is also light weight too(without the base). The stroller set also included the product number and ordering information on how to order extra bases so that you can have an extra base in your other cars without having to remove the included base out of your car. I highly reccomend this product for a Boy or a Girl. The image is very deceiving and is much better looking in person. The price is unbeatable for what's out there right now AND the fact that she'll grow out of it eventually, you really don't lose that much money in buying this product.
This product is actually more likeable than the initial travel system I wanted to purchase from Wal-mart. It was a whole lot cheaper, and is quite user friendly! I must admit that it is not as user friendly as the "more expensive" travel systems, but you really do get "more for your buck" with this system! With a quick snap of the release button I can transfer my little bundle of joy from the car to the stroller and visa versa. If I need to adjust straps, it is not too much of a hassel. The car seat was very easy to install into the car also.
If you are not into cutsie items for your son this is the perfect set. The colors are definetly male. It looks like Navy Blue but the dark is actually black. The set is easy to put together, sturdy and folds quickly to put in the car.
Set up was the hardest thing about this item and that was not even that hard. It is strong and dependable. For the price you can't beat it.
I love this stroller! Very easy to put together and use, the only problem is that it's a little difficult to pull out of the car seat base. You have to pull it out just right, or it's very difficult. It takes a little getting used to. But, the checkered pattern is really nice, and it's very easy to adjust the harness straps once it's put together. I love it, and I think the style goes great for a boy or a girl!
The picture is really deceiving; it looks like it would be black, orange, and a light purple or maybe navy blue but it ended up being checkered. The fact that it also contains a lot of black causes it to attract the sun more and then in turn makes using the stroller and car seat too hot.
car seat is not fitting in stroller like others strollers work. very difficult to remove from car seat base.
