It's a solid battery, and at the lowest price I could find. You have to fill the acid yourself, then let charge for four or more hours, which was fine for me just be aware. Thought I'd ride my ATV right away, but it's important you get it set up and fully charged the first time so plan that in. My ATV starts on the first try every time now!
Did not want to purchase an expensive battery this time because planning on selling the vehicle sometime in the future. Battery works great so far, just had it less than a week. It would have been nice if it had a strap like the one I took out for easier installation.
I liked that I didn't need to fill with acid or charge- plug and play
Other than having to add acid to battery as an extra step it works great for the price. We needed a battery to ride our motorcycle and there were 4 batteries left.
Love it, overnight charged it and it was ready to go!
Bought this battery and have been very religious with keeping it on a battery tender when not being used. After 2.5 years, the battery failed a load test miserably. It would fully charge but as soon as any attempt to even turn on the bike, there is no power. An okay battery if you're in a pinch, but at the price paid expect that it will not last long.
You have to self seal and fill it. Then have a charger to charge it for 8 hrs before you install it.
I bought this battery for my yamaha V-Star last fall 2013 (original battery lasted 10+ years) This ES12bs didnt make it a year (now june 2nd wont hold a charge.) I dont think i'll use this battery again especially seeing others have the same problem.
I purchased this battery in March of this year. It is 7 months old and no longer functioning. I have previously purchased a like battery from Walmart that did not last more than a year. I am really disappointed in Walmart warranty and product. I'll find another place to buy from.
I bought this battery Memorial Day, 2012, for my Kawasaki Vulcan 900. The previous battery lasted through four winters, and was usually reliable four three or four weeks with no start. This product never lasted a full week. I had to put it on the charger every weekend I used it. While de-winterizing the bike, I put the battery on the charger. Nothing happened. The battery is dead. The sign directly above the battery at Walmart says "2 year Full replacement on automotive batteries." This is not automotive. Let the buyer beware when buying this cheap, poorly made garbage.
