Very nice work great
Cable is nice heavy copper. The post terminal at first seemed flimsy, but it turned out to be very sturdy and clamps on terminal very tightly. Well pleased with this cable.
I've found "professional" 2-gauge 20-inch cables for $25 a piece at other sites. At less than 1/3 the cost of those cables, this 19-inch cable meets my needs and I have not had any problems with it. Actually, I have 6 of them on my solar battery array system (4 deep-cycle Wal-Mart marine batteries, connected in parallel). Some of the cables have slightly corroded, but that is my fault. I left my system (which is, admittedly, an amateur system) out in the rain over the past 3 years (I live in Southern California, so not too much rain), so some corrosion is to be expected. I finally bought a large ActionPacker Rubbermaid container to put my batteries in. After cleaning all the terminals off with steel wool and sealing my battery bank in this container, I do not expect any more corrosion of cables. You can't beat the value of these.
My husband loves his solar set up so I got him another battery and these cables for his birthday. The size is perfect for use with solar. He's very happy with them.
Nice, thick copper cable, both ends are well attached. Got this for solar battery charging. Price has gone up a lot in the last year
The connectors that attach to the battery post itself are very thin and cheaply made. I would not install these in a car and expect them to last long at all. The flat rectangular ring connector on the other end is more robust. I will use them to power an inverter that will not be used outdoors. Red color not available.
