Extremely reliable, Best Battery 4 ur Buck!

I've been buying this same EverStart Maxx Battery at Walmart for decades now. Strong and reliable battery with lots of power 800cca! In North Dakota you've to have a dependable and reliable, strong battery and this is it! I'm originally from Southern California and I ran my own swimming pool cleaning business for years. I put over 500,000 miles on my Hardbody Truck and averaged around 20 pools a day, many starts day after day for 22 years in the same truck! I went through 18 starters, and only 4 of these Walmart batteries! I can't say enough good about these batteries, And if you do need service or another battery, Walmart auto centers are always close by. You can't beat the value of these batteries!

Battery is from August 2014. Vehicle: 1995 GMC Sierra with a 5.7 350 engine. Climate: East Tennessee. Since temps have been getting in the 20's at night here in December 2023, it's finally starting to hesitate and not want to crank over in the morning. I went on the Walmart website today to see if they still sell this model and they do, but it no longer has a 5 year warranty, it now says 3 years, so hopefully the quality has not changed. But I definitely plan on buying this same model again.

BOUGHT THIS BATTERY MARCH 2023 FOR MY TRAILBLAZER. LAST MONTH (JULY) MY CHARGING SYSTEM BEGAN ACTING UP. I WOULD BE DRIVING AND SUPPLY VOLTAGE WOULD DROP IN THE 11 VOLT RANGE. SUSPECTING AN ALTERNATOR ISSUE, I CHANGED THE ALT. NO CHANGE. REMOVED THIS BATTERY PUT ORIG BACK IN AND THE CHARGE SYS. WENT BACK TO IN RANGE. BATTERY HAS A BAD CELL.

Buyer Beware Battery Deliveries From Walmart

First purchase ever from Walmart. The battery in my vehicle was dead so I ordered one from Walmart to be delivered. It arrived the next day as advertised, but they sold me an old, used, damaged battery. The images you see are precisely how the battery arrived at my house. I connected it to nothing, I saw how it looked saw the date, OVER A YEAR OLD, and according to my multi-meter it was only putting out 7V. The support team required two calls. The first sent me in circles for over 30 minutes, finally transferring me to a generic Walmart automotive center that had nothing to do with the purchase. The Walmart automotive center manager told me "whoever put that battery on the truck for delivery knew it was bad, it had to be a return and instead of recycling it, they took the money and hoped for the loss." REALLY? He told me to call support back. I called back, went in circles again, and when I told him what that manager said, he refunded the entire purchase and hung up the phone. I ordered a battery jump system from Amazon, it arrived the next day, I jumped my vehicle and took it to AutoZone. Got a new battery for around $200 and returned the battery from Walmart for $10 and the bad battery that was in my vehicle (for $22 when you buy a new battery). I will not do business with Walmart ever again, not even for a 20oz. beverage. If you have read this, then you know what they are capable of doing, you've been warned.

Beware of online order deficiencies!

Battery is OK but the Walmart procedure for dealing with the core charge return needs a lot of improvement. Battery was not in atock at thre local Walmart stores so i ordered it online for home delivery. Walmart adds a core charge to the purchase of a new battery as required by state law. The intent is to have the consumer return the bad battery for a refund of the core charge to keep the old batteries out of land fills. Upon my returning the old battery to the local store (one day after receiving the new battery and with the online purchase receipt), the store clerk tells me she cannot return the core charge in the store because it isn't itemized on my receipt. I show her that it is specifically itemized but she states it doesn't break it down that way in "her system" so she cannot give me credit for the return and tells me I'll have to contact Walmart.com to see what to do! Needless to say, I was not going to accept such a rediculous answer and demanded to speak to the store manager. Luckily the manager agreed the answer I was given was a bit rediculous and attempted to ring up a refund for the core. Even she wasn't able to come up with the option in their system. It took me suggesting she ring up a new battery purchase to obtain the specific SKU number needed to ring up a refund for me. She did and was finally able to get me my core refund. Definitely NOT worth the hastle

Just tried to bring the core back from a battery that I purchased online yesterday. Because I didn't come into the store I got shafted. Thank you, Walmart .

Bait and Switch?

I ordered a Size 78 800 CCA EverStart Maxx , but received a 750 CAA battery that does not match the picture or description. It is a W78-750 which isn't even listed on Walmart's website. Bait and switch? Shrinkflation? My last EverStart Maxx only lasted 2 years and 7 months, but the relatively low price was too tempting.

i liked how the staff explained away the fact that I ordered a 78N battery but they haven't carried that battery for a couple of years so I'm expected to be ok with a 78 group instead although i was offered no refund for the price difference. it is after all "the same" if you don count that the 78 is 50 less cold cranking amps. The staff is well trained in evasive "you didn't get the memo",' its the same except for ways its not'.... tactics. well done...brovo.
