This battery which I purchased at Walmart last time lasted 11 YEARS !!! so I bought it again. Believe it or not !! Please Walmart, continue to carry this Group battery !!
First one I bought lasted 6 years which is good for any battery. I let it go dead twice in the winter. Fits a Porsche 944 S2 1991 perfect. Hard to find the group 41 battery at most autoparts stores and the dealer prices are usually really high for the group 41. Battery is made by Johnson Controls. I didn't think Walmart when I needed a battery for my Porsche but I lucked out and found it online. Put my second one in this month and hope to get 6 more years out of it.
I just replaced my previous battery with another one of these. The date code on the old battery was "5-2/E-2", which the salesperson said was May 2002. I had gone through all my records and the only battery purchase I found was in May 2002, confirming the purchase date!! Looking forward to another 15 years!! You bet I recommend this battery made for Walmart by Johnson Controls! It's in a '95 Audi A6 Quattro.
Hard to find battery for an old Audi was shipped to my local store in one day. It was a freshly dated battery at a low price. Great service - quick pickup of new battery and turn in of the old battery for core refund.
