Followed instructions to a T. Battery leaks, prolly because it overfilled or not actually built to accept a charge from an alternater. Found many other people posting the same problem online. Also, the teminals are not threaded. It comes with retangular nuts and screws to connect the wires. Anyone who has worked on bikes knows how tight it is to replace anything. I feel like a brain surgeon after getting the nuts and srews fitted just right to tighten down. Day 1, the bike started, but I expect I will have replace the battery in a couple of months if not sooner. Which makes this a very poor value. Might be a good battery for lawn mowers. But don't buy this for a bike.
This batter is somewhere between terrible and garbage. Its a cheap and underperforming battery. It didn't even ship with enough of the fluid to fill the cells. I can't imagine this battery lasting more than a month with light use
I learned my lesson after buying 2 of these batteries, and have them fail within 12 months. They are made in Viet Nam and are of the poorest quality. Buy a BIG Crank AGM 325CCA instead.
Purchased this battery 8/1/15 . .. 1 cell shorted by 12/13/15 so it would not hold a charge. Missed warranty by a week or two. Unless you are desperate or don't need a battery that lasts more than 3 months then buy this one. Otherwise look elsewhere. Personally I am replacing this not so cheap piece of junk with an agm battery elsewhere and will see how that works?
Does not last. I am on my second battery in 3 years. I just put this one in around March hand it would not hold a charge in August. I have tried to charge it multiple times has plenty of water and acid.
I have unfortunately purchased this battery several times, about annually, for my motorcycle because of the price and I thought that I wasn't charging it enough so that it would not last. However, I have found that this barely has enough power to start my H-D and it seems to dry up quickly. It usually lasts just beyond the warranty. I got smart this year and went with another brand at another store. Not sure if the new option is better at this point, but I know this battery is not worth it.
Do not buy Send this product back to China unless you will keep a constant trickle charge when not running it will be a very weak start if at all two thumbs down
