I had an eZip trails for four years and needed to replace the battery - learned about this new model with lithium battery that weighs 1/3 of the original and I just LOVE it. Walmart has it for an amazing price too.
Meets all my expectations. Rides great. Make it able for to commute to work and back home faster than if I drove my car.
This is a great way to get around. Battery pack is light weight, holds a charge very well.
We bought this electric bike for my wife, and it is a great way to get into electric bikes, which can be expensive and somewhat complicated in the different feature-sets out there. Walmart offers this bike for a great price online, and shipping was fast and easy. The setup is a little complicated, but the bike was well packed and arrived in great shape. Be aware that electric bikes are heavy, much heavier than other bicycles. If you are planning to have to carry this bike up stairs or move it around inside of the building, it will take more effort than a standard bike, even with the lighter (and better) Lithium-Ion batteries, which are 10 lbs lighter than the older lead-based batteries. The TAG (twist-and-go) mode works like a dream; just turn the throttle and zip down the street, no peddling required. The PAS (passive assist) mode requires that you peddle, but you can still climb pretty steep hills with a lot less work. The seat is comfortable. Be aware that many types of panniers will not fit the rear rack, so you may need to hunt for one or modify an existing one. Be sure to charge the battery fully for 6 hours before riding the bike the first time; this will lengthen the life of the battery somewhat. (At $300/each, what you are really buying with an electric bike right now is the battery.) The hardest thing about an electric bike is going back to a regular bike, if you are only borrowing the electric bike. E-bikes really are amazing.
Bought this e-bike to use when I go camping. I can ride this bike for a longer time because the motor is helping me peddle . And when I get tired I just use the motor only to get back to the camper. Should have bought one of these years ago.
I just got the bike about a week ago and have been enjoying running around town. It cruses about 10 to 12 mph and has traveled about 12 miles on a single charge without peddling. I wanted to see how far I could go without peddling and if you peddle it will go probably twice that. It sure takes the work out of going up hills and when I do need a little rest I just curse on electric power. The bike takes the bumps pretty well since it has front shocks and a seat shock. I bought a basket for the back so now when I go shopping for grocery's I can take my bike and carry them back in the basket without much trouble. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a fun way to get around. It feels like a small moped but much quieter.

Good Bike, Seat needs to be lower for me. Batteries available, but not easily. We have bought this before and liked it well enough to buy again.
The bike came unassembled . but it was relatively easy to put it together ... the BIG PROBLEM is that this bike is way TOO HEAVY ... its nearly impossible for the average person to lift it into a car bike rack .I am GYM trained and I have a hard time to lift it .All the weight is in the back , This makes it difficult to secure the bike to the car bike rack .. The center bar , rather than being horizontal, is at an angle . The other problem is that after several uses you cant tell how much of a charge is remaining ..So you could suddenly run out of power while on a trip ... and then have to peddle this HEAVY BIKE back home, unassisted ...
This bike arrived with a battery rack that wouldn't take the battery. Currie Tech sent a new rack, saying it would be straightforward to replace. Took a day and a half. The new battery rack wouldn't allow the battery to be locked!! Also, I took the chain guard off to straighten it as it had arrived dented. When straightened it wouldn't fit back on. Rear tire slightly out of shape. Brake adjustment screws poor quality and shredded when trying to adjust. Now heading back to Walmart with this sad bike!!
