This cutlery and kichen tool set is the best thing since sliced bread. My wife and I have owned this set for 7 years now, without any problems. The knifes are still sharp and haven't rusted out. The only knife missing in the set is the chefs knife, which the blade broke. Not the knifes fault, but mine.
the cutlery is not sharp at all. Will not cut much of anything. Got this for my son and his wife as housewarming gift and was very disappointed.
The two larger knives had the handles break off very easily when cutting a watermelon. The plastic utensils also melted very quickly on the stove. The last bad point is that the set is not dishwasher safe. Do not recommend.
All cutlery and tools for this product needed upgrading. The knives do not cut. The other kitchen tools do not clean well and feel cheap. If you put tools near pans/pots while cooking, they melt real easy from the heat.
I got this set as a Christmas present and they are horrible. The knives blades are VERY flimsy and at the top of each handle they have little pieces of plasic where they were made and the machine that made them didn't smooth it out. Remember when cheap plastic toys were attached to plastic and you had to pull it off and the plastic parts were left on the toys that weren't supposed to be there? It's like that. They don't cut well at all. You have to saw food rather than cut it and the sawing action is hard to do. If you are trying to cut meat, forget it. When you finally saw a piece of meat, your hands hurt and the meat is all torn up. This was bought by my husband because he knew that Farberware has a good reputation. Well, they need to stick with pots and pans and get out of the business of making knives. I would go back to my old set that I loved but the whole reason for a new set was because somewhere along the way we lost a knife to the set and couldn't find a replacement. I guess we will be buying another set yet again. Consumer be warned on this one.
I wish that I could give this product no stars. Myhusband and I purchased this product because when I wasyouger we had faberware knives and never had a problem with them, within two months of having them one of the knives broke. I had noticed that they were rusting after washing them and I though that it was something with my dishwasher, but now I know that it was the knives. We have to buy all new knives and I will not be buying Farberware for them, or anything for that matter. I do not recommend this product!!
i bought this and i tell u the truth i have some of the knifes but i have a new set to replace the ones that rusted
These knives are very poor quality. They do not cut anything and they are not even straight. We had always heard Farberware was a good quality product but in this case it does not live up to its name. We had pots and pans from them and they were excellent.I do not recommend buying these knives!
I purchased this product because the name and the price but these are not even worth the low cost. These knives would'nt even cut through a potatoe. I had to get out my old worn out knives and those cut better then these new knives. Don't waste your time with these!
I bought this set over a year ago. I liked the way it looked and the fact I could keep all my knifes together. Within the first month the knifes were all rusted or the handles had broke. I was using the cooking spoon that comes with the set and it melted while stiring the food. Complete waste of money.
