Perfect size for microwave heating of soup for 1 or gravy or any small portion. Don't be fooled by picture - it just holds 2 cups. Lid fits well & handles are a delight. So many do not have "handles". The red color is a true Xmas color but I use year round as a small ladle fits perfect. Wish they made a red saucer to fit bottom to set pot on but a trivet works perfect.

When I received this casserole I was surprised and disappointed that it was much smaller than I expected. Yes, it's called a Mini casserole, but the dimensions given in the description are misleading. I decided to keep it because Rachael Ray's products are good quality and I can use it for hot dips and the like. It is NOT big enough, however, for a considerable side dish or casserole, and I probably will not use it often.
i don't believe this when i received
Love the size.....just enough for two., the handles make it easy to grab. The red color is beautiful. Very happy with my purchase.
