This headboard is GREAT. I wanted something affordable and upholstered that would not add a lot of bulk or length to the bed and this is perfect. It's relatively light weight- I was able to carry it up to the apartment by myself- the fabric is really soft and I am very pleased with the Khaki color. Its a nice, medium brown khaki- stands off of a white wall, but still contrasts with dark furniture. In the picture below I've just propped the headboard up, so, I can't speak to installation just yet. I'm moving soon and would rather wait till I am in the new house, but it looks pretty straight forward. Definitely a great purchase, looks much more expensive than it was. Buy it!
I was looking everywhere for a fabric headboard. I couldn't find a headboard in the color I wanted or the desired price range. I hardly ever shop at Walmart because I don't consider their furniture every good quality. I read all the positive reviews and decided to purchase. I love this headboard. It's really easy to put together and you can adjust the height. It took me 15 minutes to put the headboard together. I picked the oatmeal color. I am in the process of ordering another one. It took about about nine days to receive the headboard.
Just as everyone before me wrote how much they liked it, we do as well. It is a great update to your room for a reasonable price. It looks amazing and was easy to put together. I looked ALL over for the perfect headboard for our room and was shocked when I found it here, and at such a wonderful price. I am actually thinkin about buying others for our other rooms. Love it!
I looked for months for an affordable headboard (new and used) and I just couldn't beat the price of this one! I can't imagine what makes them so expensive but this one is really nice and just fit the bill. It's soft and pretty and really makes the space look so much classier! It's nice to touch and lean on and I haven't had a bit of trouble with it. I did not attach it properly to the bed frame so some of the bolts came loose but it's so sturdy I didn't even realize it wasn't attached on one end until I found the screws on the floor! I meant to replace them but why? I guess it doesn't really need to be attached, at least not on both ends. I saw some questions about the height issue (one of them may have even been mine before I bought it) and I wouldn't worry. My bed is quite low and I had the same concerns that it would sit too high. I have a standard queen on a regular size frame and box springs and when set at the lowest setting, it looks just fine. The bottom of the headboard measures 24" from the carpet if that helps at all.
I just received the headboard and I am so impressed. The fabric is nice and it is chunky.This gives it it's quality/expensive look unlike others in this price range that are thin and look cheap.
I just graduated from college and into my own place, so right now I'm working with high standards on a low budget. This was PERFECT for my needs. I looked at dozens of headboards and platform beds online, trying to find a way to add some style to my plain mattress and frame without spending too much. I finally decided on this headboard because of the many positive reviews I read, and let me say, I am SO happy that I did! It came in three pieces, all I had to do was attach each leg to the headboard- took me only minutes to do by myself. I didn't feel the need to attach it to my frame, which would have been easy to do, but once you push the bed up against it, it doesn't move at all. I think even if I did have thousands of dollars to spend on a headboard, I would probably still go with this one- it's sturdy, soft, and looks like it's worth so much more than I paid for it! My only suggestion is that if you get it shipped to the store, bring someone with you to help you carry it.. it's not terribly heavy but it's awkward to maneuver alone. I just spent the extra 30 bucks and had it delivered to my door. But regardless of how you have it delivered, I highly suggest you purchase this headboard!!
This headboard looks very high-end, and is much better than it looks online. Has a real presence in the room...I have also used the saddle brown color, and it is lovely. I used these in model homes...price is awesome for quality.
I purchased this from wal mart.com and it took up to two weeks to receive it, not a big deal for me. My husband and I put it together easily, just a few bolts and screws. I would recommend that you attach it to the wall, without that. I get headboard/wall noise when climbing in or out of bed. The white is a true white, not off white or dirty looking. The fabric looks expensive and is very comfortable to lean against. It feels more like a real suede then a microfabric. This item can be mounted high up the wall, so it has a upscale look to it more so then anything I had seen in the furniture stores. I was able to paint my furniture and do a bedroom remodel for under $300 including bedding. It is a steal, 5 stars.
Highly recommend and fast shipping to my house, made it easy. Very easy to install and makes the bed look expensive. When you attach it to the bed, you should also attach it to the wall, to create a flush look. By the way I built the wall unit with stock book shelf's and added a board paint and under mount lights. For the full effect.
Love love love this headboard! I really wanted an upholstered headboard. They can get expensive. I had a huge sleigh bed and I wanted a cute headboard but one that also looked simple and chic. This is it! I have had it for about two weeks and it is holding up. I have three kids who climb on the bed and my husband and I have to chase them out of the room. It was simple to attach. It's cheap and good lookin'. I say get it!!
