Just SIFT this litter. It's reverse from clumping and it's awesome. So I use a scoop, like a sugar or flour scoop, pick up the wet, (see my picture) hold the regular grated cat scoop over the garbage bag, and just sift. The wet litter will fall thru because it does turn to sawdust and any good pellets will remain and you can dump back in the box. You can see where your cat has gone because it swells up. On a personal note, I do clean the box a couple of times a day. For me, there has been no tracking at all and absolutely NO DUST!! How I wish I had tried this much sooner after years and years of clumping litter dust! To transition your cat from clay litter to this just start gradually mixing it with the clay until they get used to the feeling of it on their feet. For me it took about 3 weeks of slowly integrating. HIGHLY HIGLY RECOMMEND!
My cat is older %26 started peeing on his back feet. Fast clumping clay litter gets stuck in his fur %26 he would chew at it if I didn't catch %26 wash him up. Clumping litter can cause intestinal blockages… bonus this pine stuff is cheaper AND biodegradable so we are staying with it
I have had a total "hate, hate" relationship with clay cat litter. I found this feline pine litter and struck gold! It is great for sifter litter boxes only. I also only have 1 small cat and I do scoop immediately after she poops for the most part but i will let a day go before i sift out the pee. The pine pellets expand to shavings when they get wet and totally absorbs and urine smell. Its also great with poop smells too( if the cat buries it) you can even flush it down the toilet which is a huge plus. $15 for a 40lb pound bag that lasts a month and a half is great in my opion.
Feline pine is the best cat litter for your cat and for you as far as breathing cause it is natural and no perfume dust like other cat litters. You don't have to scoop only when cat poops and urine is absorbed in pine pellets which helps turn pine pellets into sawdust with no smell at all believe it it's True. I have a 16 year old Cat and I've tried many cat liters through the years and this beats them all and is natural pine pellets which is healthier for your Cat.
No perfume smell and easy to clean daily. With three cats we clean the cat box daily. We use a little less and can just dump the box, wipe it out, and start fresh.
I love this litter because there is no dust, excellent odor control, better for the health of my cats, and i can use it to build up soil in a permaculture garden after it is decomposed. It takes a little getting used to if you've used only clumping clay litters, but well worth it. The only negative for me is that 40 pound bags are too large for me to lift and pour. 20 pound bags are MUCH BETTER, and i hope they are again available.

I bought this to litter train 6 kittens, since everything I read said not to use clumping litter. We are going on week 2 of training and 3 of the kittens use it. However, I think because the pellets are so unsteady for them to stand on, the others don't like it. The smell of the litter is light and not overpowering, so that is a plus! Difficult to clean, as the pellets fall apart when wet.
Fed ex delivery 👎🏻👎🏻 The Walmart bag that was supposed to be around the litter was completely off. Which caused the litter bag to get ripped and litter was loose in the bag and on my porch. Not to mention the delivery person left a 40lb bag at the corner of my porch, not at my door. I then had to pick up the 40lb bag and bring it inside all while it was loosing contents as I walked.
The product is great but my package was left outside my building my neighbor se d us a picture of it even customer service saying that the package was delivered that they have the picture to prove it and when we got home the package wasn't there off course and Walmart refuse to give me a refund or replacement so I payed for two of this and get nothing 😡 Walmart want me to do a police report SAN FRANCISCO CA. have major issues that taking their time to look for a package from Walmart
