Safety Protection System features an electronically controlled, transparent safety shield in the 12" wide paper entry. Electronic Capacity Control indicator helps prevent paper jams by indicating sheet capacity levels during the shredding process. Shredder cuts 22 to 25 sheets per pass into 3/16" x 1-1/2" cross-cut particles (Security Level 3) at 15-7/10' per minute. You can also shred staples, credit cards, paper clips and CDs/DVDs. 2331C Cross-cut Shredder also features a continuous-duty motor for nonstop shredding, 32-gallon waste bin with bin-full light, and energy-saving mode after one hour of inactivity. Shredder is made of wood and metal.
