I bought 4 of these units and like the build. It's not flimsy or weak but sturdy enough. I even travel with it. I use mine mainly to hold documents, no books. It does a fine job. I like too that you can adjust the height. I've been able to keep up with my work. What a life saver.
Being a translator, I have to frequently open and close multiple hardcover dictionaries which are usually an encumbrance due to their huge sizes. During the course of my work, this booklift really helps because I can keep a dictionary open without having to frequently take them off my bookshelves and open them, which can be very annoying and tedious. If any language professionals see this, you should buy one or more of these because they can really help you work efficiently.
I recently bought this and it is so useful. It holds all of my heavy university textbooks well and it's portable so you can bring it anywhere with you. A great purchase.
I use mine everyday and take it with me when I travel.i use it For my iPad and my iPhone. Anything I need to see better and hand free.When I read holding the iPad, kindle hurts my hands after awhile so I can place this anywhere. I put it on my nightstand to read or coffee table, lap and even put it on my stomach to read in bed. Love it and am buying more to share.
This product is a lifesaver, used the Fellowes Book Lift in graduate school and beyond, very handy.
A versatile product. Folds up slim for easy storage and transport. Unfolds and adjusts to fit every size and weight of book I throw at it. Despite its light weight it shows no sign of strain handling the heaviest books.
I really like these book stands. They are sturdy and adjust to hold the book/copy at a number of different angles. So glad I found them!!
