i bought sage for my daughters b-day she has not set it down yet every where we go sage come's to !even my son doesn't mind playing with sage every once in a while! very high quality but a little pricey.
Spent hours playing with it, had to go buy one for her sister.
I purchased this for my seven year old granddaughter and she just loved it! Couldn't get her eyes off of Sage...just loved the interaction with her.
My daughter bought it and decided she loves it. Though, when she uses it, it is extremely loud and there is no volume control.So, like when someone is talking, and she decides to play with her toy it was so loud she had to leave. Also, it is limited. The key words it looks for is used often, so it makes it seem like a real conversation. It has three main modes: Chat with me, Dance with me, Tell me a joke. It is kind of hard to understand what the fijit friend says with Chat With Me. That's okay because she still has fun hanging out with that mode. Dance with me really brings smiles as the Fijit Friend does dance moves and my daughter tries to mimick them. For tell me a joke mode, Sage's humor is kind of stale. Overall she decided that no matter what the flaws, she loves Fijit Friends!
My daughter got this for her birthday and was really excited because she had wanted it for a couple of months. It is a cute toy! It talks and lights up as it is supposed to, however, it has a hard time recognizing or responding to the questions/commands (ie. when asked about the weather it will respond with a joke, etc...) I initially thought it was having a hard time understanding my daughters voice but I have tried, as well as, a few of her friends and it does the same thing to everyone. We have also changed the batteries twice in hopes this would help but it has not. My daughter still enjoys playing with it occasionally (trying to get some correct responses) but for the most part it sits on the shelf.
I purchased this even after reading all the negative reviews. It was 1 of only 3 things my daughter asked for her birthday. She was so excited when she opened her present. It worked great inititally. It started not responding right. I replaced the batteries and it worked perfect. Very satisfied with it. My 8 yr old LOVES sage. We also bought the accesory package from ToysRUs since Walmart didn't sell it. She loves the different ears that came with the other package!
We bought this last year and my daughters have played with it only 3 or 4 times. It is cute, but the novelty quickly wears off. It does still work, so I guess that is a plus.
My daughter saved the 50+ bucks it took to buy this item and it certainly was not worth it. It talks to her, but does not respond to the requests my daughter gives, such as to dance or chat. It has a limited number of jokes to tell and continues to repeat itself. My daughter has found out that you don't always get the quality you pay for.
I bought 2, one for each of my daughters. They are difficult to get to respond correctly to what is said to them. The batteries go dead quicker than a digital camera. It also takes 5 batteries. Not four so you can purchase a 4-pack, or an 8-pack; but 5, so you either have to buy batteries in bulk or always have 3 too many or 1 less than you need. And trust me, you will be replacing the batteries frequently. Both my kids lost interest in just a day or two, and my youngest is only 6, so for her to lose interest, it must not be what it is cracked up to be. This is $55 we are talking about, just to get a toy that dances and plays music, the interactive part was completely unimpressive.
i purchased this for my 8 year old for her birthday. It recognized a limited amount of phrases and you usually have to repeat yourself several times. It dances and tells a few jokes. My daughter was very excited to get this because it is the "hot item" this year but as i expected, she played with it a few times and now it is now in her toybox. She lost interest quickly. Dont waste your money, just another annoying overpriced toy.
