Just bought this on line a few weeks ago and assembled it yesterday. Purchase and delivery process was great - fast, efficient, great communications from FireSense. Assembly was very straightforward. Took me about 2 hrs vs the company estimate of 1 hour but I'm very methodical. Quality seems very good - solid components and construction. Used it for the first time last night and loved the amount of heat it generated. I think it will be quite sufficient for chilly Wyoming evenings. (It did turn itself off several times over 3 hours - I'm still figuring out what might have caused that - but always restarted easily.) Only negative is that I didn't realize it doesn't have a door for accessing the LP tank; lifting the cover to turn the gas on / off and change the tank is awkward.)
Just have had it a few weeks so far. Easy to assemble, started right away. But you do need to run the gas for a while to get the air out of the line to get the flame right. The only thing is we have a small dent in the stainless base cover. Maybe you could send us a replacement? Other than that, my wife has always want one and this seems to be a great one.
Bought online through Sams; took almost a month to deliver but was easy to put together; getting the plastic film off a few pieces wasn't that big of a deal. Fired up with an exchange LP tank from Lowes which I think is only 15 pounds now (not the 20 pounds as called for in the manual) but it worked - gave off a lot of heat. My only complaint: the instructions for turning it on don't match the controls on the unit so I had to watch some Youtube videos and "wing it" but eventually it fired up. Seems like the construction is good quality.
I took delivery of the patio heater yesterday, assembled it today, and it works like a charm. I decided to buy the high quality Pro Series heater because I want it to last many years. My previous patio heater (not from Fire Sense) gave me problems from day 1 and I ended up discarding it within two years, with no support from the manufacturer.
I got this from my daughter for Christmas to place next to the hot tub for the winter months. Even during this polar vortex it keeps our robes and towels warm while we enjoy the tub! Plus you get an extra year warranty for writing a review! Stainless steel has stood up well through the snow' ice and cold as well.
Bought two of these for outdoor patio social distance entertainment during pandemic. Fired them up for first time yesterday— surprised how warm and useful they were for our inaugural family dinner outdoors in 48 degree weather. Recommend getting extra large heat reflectors for better spread. Assembly ease was only about B+...manual description and drawings very inadequate, especially about base and wheel assembly. Rest was pretty straightforward and adequately described.
We have two heaters on our large terrace and they provide enough warmth so we can entertain our entire family for dinner and an outside TV movie! Love theses!
All parts were included and directions were straightforward. Started right up and work great. Only suggestion would be better pictures in the directions. Otherwise, well done.
I bought one of these last year and liked it so much that a bought another one this year. Now with two, my whole outside sitting area is nice and warm.
Once it was put together, I was able to set it up on my back patio that same night and grill out with temperature of 37 degrees and was nice and toasty ... well worth the money. Only thing I wasn't crazy about, there was no door to insert the Propane tank, it had to be lifted to put the tank in, other than that, this thing is perfect.
