Just got this flame a couple of days ago after seeing them used in open air restaurants. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted one for my patio. Very happy with it so far, but I have to agree with some of the other posts about the instructions being a little weak. Assembly was not difficult however, and anyone with even modest assembly skills should not have any issues with figuring it out.
I have been eyeing this for sometime and received it as a gift. It has been one of my favorite gifts to date. It's functional and stylish, gives off some good heat, is easy to light and if mechanical, not a difficult assembly. I would recommend this product to all!!
We just had our patio heater delivered and the assembly took less than 30 minutes from opening box to lighting heater for the first time. We are in Wisconsin and it was May 12th, 2020 temp outside was 49 degrees. Typically my wife and I would have enjoyed our glass of wine inside. Instead we were able to sit outside on the patio with our new heater keeping us toasty warm!!!
Stylish and practical heater bringing people together
We received this as a retirement gift from coworkers. We have more leisure time now and this extends our patio season up here in the Midwest. Easy to use and looks fabulous. We worked together on the assembly; we have only modest skills in this area but remain married...so still enjoying our patio heater together.
I love the look in the design of the patio heater however the instructions could be much better or even a video how do I assemble it it took me a while to figure it out
Looks and works great. Sleek and modern look for the deck. The instructions need more detail as to what pieces go where though and just seemed overly complex to put together. Nothing said which bottom panel needed to be where and at the end of almost 3-4 hours of putting it together it had to be taken back apart to rotate the bottom piece 90 degrees.
The heater is a nice addition to our deck and and we look forward to enjoying it on chilly evenings.. This is a recent purchase so I can not comment on the longevity of the product. The sheetmetal has some very sharp/rough edges. The directions leave a lot to be desired and people may find them frustrating.
While assembling this I learned that one hook on the door panel was missing! Of course this was the last step of the assembly process! I found the hook in the packaging - I guess it was welded on properly. I attached it with duct tape, but that is obviously a temporary solution. I need a replacement door.
The end product is gorgeous ... be prepared for a lengthy assembly. Pieces arrived pristine in the box but wouldn't fit together well and we had to use force to get the holes to align. Also the last step of assembly (bottom panels) literally can't be installed without undoing screws placed earlier. But when all was done, its gorgeous! It's impressibly tall but that means not a ton of heat for open area seated height.
