I received this first aid kit in return for my honest opinion. This is a great first aid kit! It has a big variety of first aid products in it. Everything is well organized and easy to find through the clear vinyl pockets. This first aid kit even includes "Sting Relief Pads" for use with insect stings. We are beekeepers and this will really come in very handy! Just like the box it came in says, it contains first aid items that you would need to "...clean, treat and protect". It comes in a soft-sided blue nylon case that measures 7" x 9" x 1" and looks and feels very durable. This is a great first aid kit to keep handy whenever you are outside. This is a good size for home or classroom use, or to take with you for a church camp out, or group function ( especially if kids will be playing). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This is a great kit to have at home or in the car. You never know whats going to happen and this product takes care of most emergencies.
Got this kit for my boy who is around turning 2, for he has been adventurous thus he bumps into the table or falls a lot. It is good to have a kit like this for any emergency.
Like others have noted, this kit has so many tiny parts it could easily all spill out and be disorganized. Also, the tweezers are kind of ridiculous--definitely need to replace those with real tweezers. Still, it's a useful thing to have around. What was odd was the packaging for the shipment of two kits was a huge box that about 50 of the kits would have fit in.
I bought this to add to a bigger more complex first aid kit. I like the convenient carry case and the qty of items. However the scissors it states it contains with image on cover is not what you get and the finger splints it includes are just Popsicle sticks, which will serve the purpose I suppose. Overall good for price.
Overall, I'm very pleased with the order. The kit is what I expected for use in my wife's car. It's large and complete enough to handle all minor injuries, but small enough for easy storage. The only odd comment, not necessarily a bad one, is that the kit is the size of an average cookbook, but the shipping box was more than large enough to hold a basketball, with space to spare. I guess that makes it harder to misplace during shipping. Thanks for the quick service; less than a week from order to arrival.
This is a good basic kit for minor injuries only. It is fairly well organized and contains all the items listed, many bandages and items for treating smaller wounds. The first use I had for the kit was to remove splinters that 2 of us acquired. The blue plastic tweezers were non-functional. Not broken, just poorly designed and made. I purchased a replacement set (metal) a few days ago and would recommend that to others. The first aid 'guide' that comes with it is one sheet, but informative. I was looking for something a bit more, for a home and/or survival (bug-out, camping, hiking) resource. I filled another small pouch containing small bottles of pain relievers/fever reducers, allergy meds, antacids, cold remedies. I made it very assorted, so drug allergies and interactions can be worked around. There was not any anti-itch cream or ointment in the kit either, so may be something to consider. It works good for home as well as away as it is all together in a small case about the size of an i-Pad, but weighs less. Much better than a cabinet with boxes of this & that, and things that stray from their place.
This kit is pretty good. I wish it had some bigger bandaids, there are only a few small sizes. I also wish that the pockets inside were zippered and the case was hard. The soft case works in my specific situation because I'm adding more to it and it fits well into our 72 hour kits. However, a very similar kit is sold by WM with a hard, waterproof case.
Expiration dates on some of the products in the kit were within a year. That's unacceptable for a first aid kit.
