[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the package with the First Alert Battery Powered Smoke Alarm with Hush Button and I love it works great when I push the test button loud and works great and I will be buying some more from the store to put in the two bedrooms and the two hallways the two bathrooms the kitchen I already got one in the living room and I told people about the product and they said they will be shopping for some at the store for there home other than that it's loud and works great so it will make a perfect smoke alarm for people to put in there homes for people to be safe and stay safe and sleep peaceful and knowing that the smoke alarm will let you know if there is smoke or a fire

It does work when smoke is detected. I really like that it has a hush button. It is loud and works great. It was very easy to install as well. This is a quality smoke alarm that you can count on.They really designed this smoke alarm very well. We have four smoke alarms that are wired into the house. This is a perfect addition.You can sleep great knowing if there is any smoke this alarm will let you know!

I installed it near the kitchen, and am super glad it has the hush button, as my oven smokes easily and the alarm often goes off. The battery door works easily, it was simple to get the battery in and out of the alarm. Putting it on the front makes it accessible, it opened up easily. The mounting process was also simple, I did not have any issues with the installation. This is my new favorite smoke alarm brand.
