It’ll get rid of green water to keep your pond beautifully clear, as well as keep the water quality in perfect harmony so that your fabulous fishies are as happy and healthy as can be! This particular filter has a clever combo of UV and biological filtration to ensure exactly that, while SUPRA+ Bio Media allows for optimum growth of ‘good’ bacteria. It comes with a handy flip-up lid, making it super easy to use, and the filter itself is green in color – meaning it blends into its natural surroundings.

Works great

I have had the same one on my 100 gallon fish pond for over ten years. I have had to replace the bulb twice and the pump three times, but only now the box has finally rotted out and I have to replace it. I have tried other brands, but they didn't work as good the fish mate. Now I won't use anything else.

Our first one lasted over 5 yrs before the weather and water deteriorated the plastic. The second one hasn't kept the Algiers down not sure what to do. I'm going to change bulb even though it still works.

So I decided to do a 125gal duck pond. After alot of research i decided to go with this filter. It does great and was very easy to set up. Only nitpicking con is it has TWO outlets which kinda makes it harder to hide for a clean look

Not the most sophisticated thing.

First, it comes only with a single layer of coarse mechanical filtering media - most have fine and coarse or sometimes even three different kinds of filter media. The replacement filter media is inexplicably pricey. Th UV lamp is a very flimsy design - I can't imagine it will last long and the case itself is similarly dodgy. On the other hand, for a small pond, it's the way to go and there are no other comparable options, really, if you want a gravity feed filter. It could be better built and a bit more sophisticated given that it is supposed to perform a rather complex biological, gravity fed filtration function.

So. Far have not used it as I didn't realise that the electric was for American settings not . It will need a lower power transformer than we have.
