I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY 7 MONTH OLD SON AND HE LOVES IT!!
My daughter got this for Christmas when she was just 3 months old. She loved to sit on my lap and play with him! She sits on the floor now and has figured out how to use the balls too. She doesn't use the hammer, but that's okay. He is a little top heavy, but we just set him against the wall of the pack-n-play or prop him up on some pillows. By now she gets more entertainment out of knocking him over and scooting him around the floor anyway. Very fun toy!
Lion part of toy is top heavy, causing toy to constantly fall over. This was very frustrating for my child, and would cause loss of interest. Base needs to be heavier/sturdier or lion lighter, so it does not fall over. If it didn't constantly fall over, I would have given it a 5 Baby Foot Review.
This has the potential to be a great toy, but it's too back heavy the minute my son tries to play with it it tips over. He still loves to hit the tiger even if its tipped over and the hammer is fun for him to chew on.
tips over too easy - very cute, good music balls are too hard for small children and it tips over way too easy does develop good hand/eye coordination by hitting the balls to go in the holes expected better design from Fisher Price.
The toy is back heavy, so it tips over with no effort - making it useless. The batteries and a counter weight should be located in the base so my baby can play w/o me having to set it back up for her.
I bought this product last Christmas for my 1 yr old daughter, she couldnt even play with it, without it toppling over! Great concept for the toy but just doesnt workout because its too top heavy.
this toy is very top heavy from the lion it falls backward all the time it is always turned over on the floor. the mallet is lightweight which is good because all my daughter does is hit herself in the head with it lol and the little balls roll under the furniture unless you are on a carpet but forget it for hardwood or tile a waste of money
We bought this toy for our 11 month old grandson and we're very disappointed to say the least. When you set it on the floor for the child to play with it, don't bump it or it will fall over. It is TOO top heavy! It's frusterating for the child when putting the balls in the holes and before he hits them with the little hammer the toy falls backwards. Again it's too top heavy. Today we are returning it to the store!
