I love this bouncy seat, it is perfect! This is my husband's and I's first child and we were pretty particular in what we picked out for baby products in terms of patern, appearance, ect... all the while keeping in mind the best product to suit the need. This bouncy seat is great because it looks like a piece of furniture as opposed to a play toy. We did not want our living room turning into a jungle gym of toys and this play seat sits in the living room like a matching piece of furniture when it's not in use. Our baby loves it and it is a great napper. 5 minutes in it and she is out cold! I thought the value was great and would definitely buy this product again. Also easy to assmemble, took less than 10 minutes to put together!
Too bad this infant seat isn't in the store. The colors and trim are very attractive...must see..not typical baby gear look. The different sounds are all soothing and the swing away mobile handy. Bought for my trendy boss and she loved it.
My baby did not like his swing so I decided to try the infant seat in the Zen collection. My baby loves everything about this seat and he is 4 months and over 15 pounds. What I love most about the seat is he enjoys it and it matches my home decor perfectly!!! I wish I would have purchased the entire collection.
I love this Seat! It is beautiful, has 3 speeds for vibration and 3 seat positions! Great for newborns to infants due to the size,will accomodate a bigger baby so the money is well spent!
Chair has three position settings that allow for a nice sitting position which we were looking for for our newborn who suffers from reflux. The vibration has three settings and we use the highest setting and it works wonders on putting our little guy to sleep. The music is loud enough for just being a take along seat. We mostly use the womb sound setting while he sleeps. After a little while both the vibration and sounds shut off, I'm assuming this is for saving battery. I love this about it. I do wish it came with an adapter to plug in to electric (my only complaint). The mobile is plain and doesn't move by itself. Which is fine. We don't care. Our little guy still loves it. He coo's at it all the time. We call the dragonfly his "little friend". :) We also have the matching swing and we love it as well. The pattern is fantastic and goes great in the home. It's not brightly colored like most baby things and doesn't really stand out when you walk in the room. Which I love about it. This is not a bouncing seat. It is a vibrating seat. If you are looking for a bouncer. Don't get this. Other than that we recommend it highly.
This chair is great. The vibration is wonderful. It has 3 settings. If I turn it off my little girl gets fussy, so she likes it. I picked this chair because of the colors. It's great for a boy or girl and looks wonderful as part of our home decor. The sounds and music are very soothing. The mobile is worthless, we do not use it. It can be removed so that is no problem. I've been taking it everywhere for my baby to lounge in. That's a great option because I can keep her from getting packed off in every direction. This chair is NOT a bouncy chair. If you want the bouncing chair buy the matching swing.
We used this seat since the day my daughter came home from the hospital. She fits in it perfectly and the vibrations and music help keep her calm so that I can get some things done while she watches me. I love the fact that it's lightweight. I had a c-section and couldn't lift much for awhile, but I could carry my daughter around comfortably in this from room to room. I did experience a little problem with the vibrating part not working at times. This is the only reason I gave it an average rating- other than that, I love it.
What I like about seat: I like that it elevates baby without over doing so. It will allow your LO to sleep sound if they don't like being flat on their back, has gas, or acid re-fluxed. Even with elevation baby can stretch and kick comfortably. It doesn't bounce so you can put baby in it after meals and won't have to worry about spit up. What I don't like: Dragon fly overhead doesn't do anything, like spin or light up. If it was a working mobile overhead I would rate 5 stars.
I do not generally write negative reviews, but I feel it is important to tell others that this cute little seat literally sucks the batteries dry in just a few days! It is a very well designed seat otherwise. My son absolutely loves it, but we were running through batteries weekly. It is very wasteful, not to mention bad for the environment. We ended up buying rechargable batteries, but we are constantly taking them out to recharge them. We had the rainforest chair for my other son, and it did not have this problem.
I got this seat as a gift at a baby shower in May but didn't end up setting it up until recently, as I had originally purchased the whole Rainforest Collection bouncers, swings, etc. for my twins. We needed extras for Grandmas house...so we finally took the Zen Collection seat and swing out of the box and set it up at Grandmas. The Zen collection swing was great (other than a weird clicking noise as it swung)...but the seat was very tempermental. From the moment out of the box, it decided to have a life of it's own...it would work if it felt like it. We put batteries in and it was great...for a few minutes. Then it just stopped working. At first I thought my batteries were bad, even though they were brand new and came straight from the store, so we changed them. After we changed them the vibration and sound and music worked fine for a few minutes, but after turning it off and then later turning it back on it wouldn't work...AGAIN. I decided I would replace the motor, since it's replacaeable piece through Fisher Price. I've rated it negatively because I feel like you shouldn't have to pay to replace a part on a brand new item that really didn't work from the get-go. After the new motor comes in ($20 with shipping!!) we'll see how it goes.
