My 3 month old loves it! He plays in it, takes naps in it and has figured out how to rock himself in it. My only complaint would be that the toys on the bar above him are too high... for a 3 month old he cannot reach them. Also, I wish the toys rattled or something to keep his interest. We used links and added some of his toys to the bar.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom with a 17 month old and 7 week old, this rocker is perfect! I can go from a rocker with the toy bar for my newborn or let my toddler have a seat. The rocker was not hard to assemble and is light weight and easy to move around the house. This would be a great purchase for a first time mom or a momma with a few kiddos. I can also see myself getting a second chair, so each kiddo has their own. You'll get a lot of life out of this product.
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS! When my son was born we stayed in the hospital 2 nights, and he HATED the crib/bassinet. He absolutely had to be held and no matter how asleep he seemed to be, he would wake up as soon as I tried to lay him down. I've used this since the day we came home from the hospital, and now my son is almost 4 weeks old and still uses it. We attempted sleeping in the crib a couple times since we've been home and had the same result, but with the rocker I can put it in the reclined position and it's the only way he will sleep if he's not being held. I just have a soft blanket to drape over that covers the feel of the rocker its self. Our bed is not on a frame, so it's perfect level right next to the bed. I love this and would definitely recommend it if you have a newborn that doesn't like laying flat. The price is also less expensive than the actual co-sleeper rockers, but it does the same thing. LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!
I'm so glad we purchased this rocker! My 7 week old was getting increasingly fussy in the afternoons and having a place to let him sit and watch the activities going on around him has really helped. The vibration feature is calming and the fact that it rocks in response to his kicking adds to the fun. He has fallen asleep in it several times. Thanks for such a great product!!
I bought this chair for my 3 week old and it had now turned into his favorite chair! I am able to carry him in it to another room (carefully). Very convenient and seems durable so far.
So far it has met my expectations as well as the baby. It was easy to assemble. The best thing about this product...its good till the child reaches 40lbs. It can be converted into a rocking chair.
I bought one and then went back and purchased a second one. I have grandsons that are eight months apart. The oldest grandson kept telling the youngest to "go" because he liked the vibrating, rocking motion too. These seats are suitable for the newborn and up to 40 pounder. A good long term investment.
My son loves this chair, and so does my three year old daughter. We didn't buy the chair for our daughter, but of course we can't seem to keep her out of it. The toy bar is nice, but a little high for our son right now.
I love the product except one feature. The seat that the child seats in is too short. Even though he easily meets the weight limit, the slit at the bottom will not stay over the on/off switch. Once the child is in it for a few minutes it will work its way off.
When I purchased the rocker, I was expecting it to play music for more than 30 seconds at a time. I thought it would play music for a new minutes. You have to pull the string and then the music is over in no time at all. The vibration is nice, though.
