This was a birthday gift for my four year old little girl. She loves it, especially "THE REAL RADIO". She thinks she is soooo big!! It was a little time consuming putting together (about 2 hours), but was very easy with the instructions. I recommend putting it together and charging it before giving it to a child, because it does take about 20 hours to charge it the first time. The battery holds charge very well. My daughter rode it about 3 or 4 hours before the battery started wearing down. It is very precious and a gift I HIGHGLY recommend!!
I bought this item for my daughters 2nd birthday. She loves it, but still trying to get the hang of steering. The radio is also a big bonus. Great product and love the site to store shipping.
Very pleased with the jeep. Haven't used it a whole lot because it is still cold outside but my two and a half year old loves it. She still needs a bit of help steering but is learning. The wheels slip a bit on start-up at the 5 MPH speed but then again the wheels are plastic. We did call and had the RADIO replaced because the first one did not seem to work. The replacement radio had problems also. It is more of an antenna problem. Just poorly designed. If the radio is important to you, prepare to be disappointed.
We got this jeep for our daughter's third birthday. She loves it and we have had no problems with it the only minor problem was that the sterling wheel was damaged when we received it they sent us a new one and the delivery was very fast on it, we received it in only 3 days from requesting a new one. This is now my daughters favorite toy and everyday she can not wait to play in it, packing it full of all her toys that need to come along for the ride.
great fun for our grandaugter who is 3,she loved the seating and the radio that is real....when she opens the door on drivers and gets in,she puts seat belt on and takes a long ride...great toy and battery held up very well and rode for about 2 hrs texasbuttercup
She loves it but it jerks even in low gear! Be nice to have a cushioned headrest!
the jeep was simple to put together. my 3yr old loves it, well mostly the radio. thge battery holds a charge for a long time. Now the bad. 1. the sterring is really loose. the way to fix that is the holes that the steering rod go through, wrape the rod with masking tape it tightens up the steering quite well. 2. the tire dont get much traction, put something heavy in the back behind the seat. the extra weight helps the traction and the jerkyness. it does however drain the battery quicker. 3. the radio dosnt get good reception, uner the "dash" u will see the black wire coming out of the radio looping around the "dash", take the wire and run it up and around the windshiled. it is well worth the money when i saw the look in my doughters eys when we went to pick it up.
My 1 1/2 yr old was outgrowing her little scooter so I bought her this jeep. Her feet barely touch the pedal but she has learned how to hold it down to make the car move. Steering is another issue. The only complaint I have, is that the slower speed is not really THAT slow! so once you push the pedal, it jerks into motion. Not really a smooth transition. Otherwise, I am happy with it. It was easy to assemble, even if your pregnant like me! So far I haven't had to charge the battery, which is impressive. I would buy this again.
My Daughter had gotten this from her Aunt for her 5th birthday. SHE LOVED IT. Problem #1 radio never worked. #2 Regardless what the age range is it is NOT for 3 and UP. Try 3 and 4. My child can't fit in it, her legs have to go around the stering wheel and the battery dies within 1.5. My child is only 50 lbs, but then again she is 48 inches tall. IF YOU HAVE A OLDER CHILD OR A TALL CHILD: DO NOT GET FISHER PRICE ITEMS. THEY ARE MADE FOR SMALL CHILDREN. Lessen learned the hard way.
We own 3 power wheels. This is the worst, the best is the Artic Cat jeep and ATV. Not only do the fat wheels make this machine hard to handle, but the steering is very loose, makes VERY wide turns, and is more difficult to steer straight on sidewalks. Constant correction is required.
