Daughter Loves It - Great Transitional Mat

My daughter has played with this mat since she was 2 months old. In the beginning we propped her up with pillows; now she crawls through it. She has always enjoyed the music fish which she learned how to activate around 5.5 months. Now that she is crawling I have turned into the tunnel. She crawls through it with a smile on her face as she bats the ball which now seems to be her favorite toy. The toys are held up by Velcro, but that was never a problem. It hasn't been until she turned 7 months that she ever pulled a toy down. Now the ball never stays up because she is always playing with it. As a parent I like that the mat doesn't take up a lot of floor space. A friend has a square play mat which is always in her way.

My baby LOVES this

I TOTALLY would recommend this product. My son loved playing with it on his tummy, he loved playing with it on his back, and he still loves crawling through it. He is even walking now but he still plays with it all the time. It is easy to set up (but you should still read the instructions).

MY SON REALLY ENJOYS THIS!! LOVES TO KICK THE BALL (MAYBE THE SOUND OF THE BELL INSIDE OF THE BALL HELPS!) AND LISTEN TO THE MUSIC FROM THE FISH.HE HASNT STARTED TO CRAWL YET BUT WE WILL BE ABLE TO USE THIS WHEN THAT HAPPENS ALSO. THANK YOU

Overall Ok....

I originally bought this because I liked that it grew with my son. As a basic mat, he loved it and it offered hours of playtime. However, the tunnel isnt really a tunnel. He is just learning to crawl and alreay he can barely fit though (not to mention its only about 2 feet long is that) Overall for the price, its a good toy. But dont expect too much.

OK, but not really worth the $30

My son is 2 1/2 months old and I thought this would be a fun little playmat for him to have. If you read the other reviews, most people say that the velcro straps are too short to wrap around the slots (which they are) but after trying and trying and almost giving up and returning it back to the store, I started looking at how they set it up on the box. After that it made more sense. I attatched the toys and my son seems to enjoy it, especially kickiing the ball. I don't like that the fish only plays such short songs though. But I do like the fact that you can convert it into other forms of play. Overall its an OK product, but not really worth the $30 that it costs in my opinion.

I wish it folded!

My son is 1 year old and he has always loved this toy. I wish it folded to carry along when visiting his grandparents, and also to get it out of the way when it is not in use. It can be taken appart, but I wish it could be done with a little less work. My son loves the ball, and he plays with the ball even when it is not attached. He also loved the mirror & the tunes. I wish the musical fish wasn't made of hard plastic, and I wish he could activate the music himself. It's great for the price, but it could be improved!

we bought this toy for our 1st child when he was 9mths..i was so excited to get it outta the box that i actually played with it before he did.it was a little difficult to get the foam pieces through the fabric to make the arcs. when my son finally did get to play with it he really didnt like it unless it was the tunnel. and he kept taking the toys off and kept losing them..all in all i figured hed like kicking the ball but he really didnt like any of the toys but the fishy that made the music..

Somewhere in the middle...

I bought this AND received one as a gift. Our son plays with it sometimes but does lose interest after a few minutes. The "tummy time" mode wasn't all that great since it's angled too high for my baby to see himself in the mirror. I recently converted it into the tunnel so hopefully he will like it more.... It not a bad toy... just not worth the price.

not very entertaining toy

I bought this for my five month old and I thought it was a very cute toy, but my son got bored with it real fast, the velcro wouldn't stay and it fall apart easily. I also wished the music would play continuously rather then having to push the button for a 3second song.

this toy was so cute when i saw it at the store, but when i set it up it wasnt worth the money spent on it. When u set up it wouldnt sit right, the toys dont stay attached, and i just think that it is garbage so that is where it is going.
