No more hand crank wind ups. No batteries to fool with. All around great, so far. Only had this swing for about three weeks. Seems to be well made. Electrical system seems to be great. With Walmarts return policy and a credit card extended warranty, I feel great about purchasing this swing. Walmarts ship to store policy is great too!
He just falls asleep in it. The different songs are really soothing. It was easy to set up also. The directions were straight forward. It has a nice design, the pockets are useful and the mobile is cute. It's awesome that you have two options: a cord or batteries . I don't think I'd pay $92 for it again though.
I really like this swing....my baby boy used it quite a bit when he was younger about (3-4 months old).....he used it 3-4 times a day.....we have never had any problems.......it is very sturdy and even now, that he has stopped using it as often and he is almost 19 pounds, he can still swing in it with ease....highly recommend.....good price for a good value......
This swing is the first I had ever heard of that was electric and battery operated. If you have had a baby before then you know how many batteries you can go through using all of your baby stuff. This was a true blessing, and I don't know why more companies aren't making them! It was very easy to assemble, and I'm sure my baby is going to love it!
I bought this swing for my nephew's newborn son. He and his wife have been sending me emails and pictures of Antonio in his new swing, which they swear he loves. They say that they love it just as much as the baby does because it brings so much joy and comfort to him. I read the reviews before I decided to purchase it and am really happy I did. One of the best features is that it as a power adapter that definitely saves on buying batteries and they just love it!
this is a very good purchase for the price, but this swing is not practical for newborns. It just doesnt lay down enough for the baby to be comfortable. My husband and I had to put a blanket in it so his head was stable. Later on when he is older I think this will be the perfect swing. I would recommed it but only for 5 months and older.
This swing is great. My favorite feature is that it doesn't need batteries. My son is 1 month old and loves it. He really loves the music, very soothing for him. When I tried putting him in it a few days after he was born, he did not care for it and it did go too fast for him on the lowest setting. It just took another week or so for him to get use to it. I did find that letting a blanket drag, slowed it down, but is not needed now.
After dealing with a battery operated bouncer for the first two months of baby being home I decided to research a swing. I love the fact that this swing can be plugged in to the wall, saving me a weekly chore of replacing batteries. My son can be quite cranky sometimes (must get that from his mother's side) and when placed in the swing he is put at ease. The swing went together quite easily and I feel it is of strong, sturdy design. I think the only thing I would change is the music settings, either it's off, on low, or on high. I wish it had a dial for the volume so I could better control the setting. Overall though, very pleased and have no regrets buying it.
This is the fourth swing we've tried and we're finally happy! It's smaller than the huge papasan-style swings, so it's easier to take from room to room. Our last swing ate through batteries, and the fisher-price one we had before that was really heavy. It's the perfect size and my son likes it much better than the papasan-style seats.
This is the only swing that I could find that actually plugs into an outlet for power, instead of using countless batteries. My 3 month old daughter loves it. The mobile is enough for a swing, and the music is great, especially with 2 volume controls. A definite keeper!
