Battery lasts a long time, longer than expected. Product does as stated. Has better traction than expected but needs to be in the "fast" mode for both wheels to spin.
I bought one for my Grand-son's 5th BD. This one is for my Grand-daughter's 4th BD. Works great on gravel and grass. Radio works great. Room in back to put toys or even a third child. Thumbs up
"Santa" brought our oldest daughter (4) this outstanding purple truck! She thinks she is top kid on the block now! She can control it very well and enjoys driving her little sister (2) around the backyard "sight seeing!" This is a WONDERFUL iteam for your little one, and cant wait to see if they come out with a pink one in a couple years! :) *husband says it takes alittle effort to assemble, but well worth it!
We purchased this Power Wheels F-150 for our two and a half year old son Christmas 2007. I looked over several others out there including the Per Perego ride ones. He is now six, still able to drive it comfortably, and now his sister, a 3 yr. old drives it daily. We live in the country. The truck is constantly driven over grass, mulch, on pavement, over 4" concrete curbs, river rock. It has been very sturdy, only on occasion does it slip in the wet leaves, or pine needles and need pushed off. The radio works about 50% of the time, but other than that it's the BEST, and this price of $199 is a GREAT VALUE!!!
We bought this as a surprise for our daughter's 4th birthday. I was going to go with the hot pink camaro, but purple is her favorite color at the moment. She is a total girly girl, so the sparkle and purple is perfect. She was so excited when she saw it. I drove around in it with her. I am only 105lbs and she is like 40lbs so it worked well. It rides great and is made well. She lets her lil brother ride next to her and her friend rides in the back part. We are very happy with this truck!
We just gave this truck to my daughter tonight for her 4th birthday. She was so excited. It is made really well and has great speed to it. She was driving her 7 year old sister around and they had a blast. I searched for a long time prior to this purchase and it was well worth it.
Purchased for Christmas... so far so good. The truck color was EXACTLY as pictured. The truck actually looked better once put together due to the silver seats and silver stickers. "Purple and Silver" was like the "big boys" do at the car shows. People thinking too "girly" may be very ordinary LOL. I saw the silver in the store and it looked really plain and the black is plain. The purple is great for a boy and for a boy that's pretty tough, he didn't have anything to say about the purple. The purple made the truck stand out and for $50 cheaper it made the truck more appealing LOL. I think all Power Wheels are about $50-$100 overpriced and lower sticker price made it worth purchasing. The gigantic 4 Wheeler we purchased a couple years back is also still holding up so I expect this to hold up as well.
This truck is a great buy. The purple was $50 less than the black & it is the same exact car in all other ways! It has 3 speeds; 2 forward at 2 and 5 mph, and 1 reverse at 2 mph. It has a functioning radio as well as seat belts and a truck bed that will haul up to 25 pounds. It was easy to assemble; my husband & I finished in 30 minutes. One drawback is that the truck is huge so expect it to take up some serious garage space.
My 5 year old girl and 2 year old boy love this car. The radio feature is a nice plus. I wish quality of plastics(hood, side panels) was better/stronger. Kids tried riding it on grass/leaves and it didnt do so good. Yes, the grass/leaves are wet now...fall time but I was expecting more from it. Will have to get those rubber things to go on wheels for more traction. Good thing I didnt have to pay full price. Bought it a few days before the price went up.
We just gave this truck to our 3 yr old daughter today. She loves it, but is a little too short to easily reach the pedal. The description says the seat is adjustable, but it screws in and does not adjust. You can work around the issue, and we got it for a good price, so it is well worth it, but is not as described as the seat does not adjust.
