I am oh so pleased with this purchase and my 2-month old grandchild appears to be just as satisfied. Every who has come to my house and see it has commented about how nice and neat it is.
I've been looking around for this rocker for so long, everyone else sold it for much more about $20 or more than Walmart. When I saw the Walmart price, looked at product in another store, and read the reveiws, I was SOLD. My 3 month old loves the swing; we put her in it of course if we're not able to attend to her ASAP or just so she can swing and go to sleep. My 3 year old sits in it also - so far it hasn't broke.
im soooo glad i got this swing my girl LOVES it and she plays with the little bears like theyre her best friends. i highly reccomend this it really is an all-in-one ...now only if the chair vibrated...
I love baby items that can grow with the baby! This is a really great one. We haven't used the swing too much just yet, but we have tried it out. We mosty use just the bouncy seat. Our littlest is only 2weeks old right now. I def think this is a great buy!
This swing is wonderful for my five-month old. I'm self-employed, so I put her in it for naps and playtime while I'm working and she loves it. It took a little while to assemble, but once it's put together once, all the real work is done. It's a lot more space-efficient than I expected. It's more comfortable and supportive than other swings I've seen. I love the fact that it will still be useful as a rocking chair as my daughter grows.
Our 3 month old daughter smiled the first time we put her in the swing! She actually seems to like the music too. She only tolerates it for 10-15min at a time, which is probably better for her anyway, and this probably would have been the same for any swing. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who is having trouble keeping their baby happy and occupied for all the hours that they're awake!
This product was just perfect for my child holds up great and is very safe to use. Having a 2 year old trying to help, this swing takes some abuse but still is working great. She has a tendentsy to try to swing it by hand instead of letting it go on its own, and thank goodness it is put together good .Works as good today as the day we received it. Love the rocker part of the seat it will come in handy as he gets older. Excellent all around product.
Good product for a good price. Baby loved it and because it turns into a rocking chair as they grow up rather than having to dispose of it or store it, I also loved it. It is also very convenient to just get the chair off the swing setup to move her when she's asleep rather than risking waking her up.
but this time, I decided to listen to someone else. Time was more of a factor, and it wasn't on my side... The FP Smart Stages 3-in-1 Rocker Swing is a very good value for what you get (~$68 after taxes). While set up took some time due to the many parts in the box, it was well packaged; each piece was carefully wrapped to prevent any damage. The swing frame is aluminum, so it's both lightweight and durable, and the motor operates on 4 d-cell batteries. Where this swing lacks is in it's frills and features. While it boasts 3-in-1, it only rocks and sits stationary. It would be more convenient if the frame was both foldable (for storage) and on wheel casters with locking positions (for mobility and stability). The rocker is also only a one position rocker, and is a bit upright when resting at it's natural position. When using the kickstand, the angle increases and puts it at a better position for a sleeping baby. The rocker requires both hands when inserting and removing it from the swing frame and may be a bit tricky in lining up, especially with the baby already in the seat. The swing arms also do not lock, which makes the task of inserting the rocker into the swing that much harder. The rocker has a removable arch where toys can be affixed (via velcro) to keep baby amused; however, this arch is loosely attached and is often mistaken for a handle. The 3-point seatbelt is a nice feature as it is adjustable to accommodate a growing baby. The unit also plays music at two fixed volumes and rocks at two fixed speeds. The rocker (when on the swing) requires a slight push to get it going after the motor is turned on. The swing arms are very smooth and the motor is quite quiet. While I have not owned this product long enough to assess it's long term durability, it serves it purpose as a basic, no frills, rocker. I didn't expect much for the price I paid, so I wasn't to disappointed with what I got. In comparing this to other rockers in the same class, such as the Graco Compact Swings ($60-$70), the FP 3-in-1 is a easy winner.
I got this swing for my baby shower, and I loved it. I picked this one because you could use it for a toddler too. but after a month & a half it just stopped swinging and the fabric had gotten very pilly and warn. Also I wish it would of had a position adjustments My newborn was sitting too straight up.
