I am so glad we have this wearable baby monitor. I have been amazed to see all the features it has and how it has been helpful for our baby. It is easy to use. The monitor fits inside the band and it velcros together. We placed the monitor to the back our baby's leg right above the ankle after it was charged. Once I downloaded the Sproutling app I found it was very easy to follow and use. One of my favorite features on the app is the ability to control the light and sounds. From my phone, I can turn on the nightlight to the desired amount of light as well as choose from a list of sounds/music to play. This light and sound comes from the base which is on our baby's dresser in his room. He enjoys the music and I felt it soothed him and several nights allowed him to relax and fall asleep to hearing the sounds. The app will log is sleep time and waking habits which has been useful to see patterns in his sleep. I also like the feature that will alert my phone when he rolls over. He is five months old and has just started rolling over. When I see the alert, I can go in and peek on him to make sure he is okay. I would recommend this product to parents and caregivers because I have found it helpful with all the information it provides. It has given me security and peace when my baby is asleep as it monitors him. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Get peace of mind when your little one is out of sight with the Sproutling Baby Monitor from Fisher-Price. This wearable baby sensor comfortably fits around baby's ankle to monitor their heart rate, movement and whether they're asleep or awake. You receive notifications when baby rolls over or wakes up and monitors your baby's sleep pattern and heart rate. It takes 7 days to learn your baby's sleep cycle then it will provide wake up predictions, so you can have enough time to take a nap or hop in the shower before baby wakes up. It comes with two band sizes so it is an easy fit on most babies. The larger band fits on my chunky 19 month old. It has start up instructions on the box then once you download the app it has more instructions as well as a paper sheet inside the box. So it is easy to follow and set up. On the app you can change your account, notifications, baby profile, connect caregivers, FAQ, and can replay walk through settings. The charger lights up when it is charging and turns off when it is fully charged. The app will tell you the charge of the band weather it is on the charger or not. I put it on the charger as soon as we take it off and never had a problem with it running low on battery. Using it all night used less than half the charge. The charger also turns into a night light and plays sounds/music. All you have to do is turn it on in the app. The night light features 7 different colors to choose from and adjustable brightness. There are 23 different sounds/music. If you miss a sleep cycle with the tracker you can enter it in manually. We watched the alerts on my phone and watched the baby camera on my husbands phone and the alerts were very accurate. My son is getting a few procedures done soon so it will be nice to have his sleep tracking before, during, and after so we can know sooner if there are any problems. We learned he is waking up 18 to 20 times a night which makes since on why he always so tired so we are also going to bring that up and show his doctor. This is not a medical device but it sure helps to detect a possible problem! At first I could not see why someone with a healthy baby would need a device like this but it can detect a problem you may not be able to see for a while. It can predict how long your baby would stay so you can know if you have time to shower or nap. I wish I had that when my two were younger! Overall I recommend this for any family but especially for babies who have medical problems. You can have peace of mind your baby is sleeping without having to be right there all the time. This is a life saver! I have twins and it's so hard to keep running back and forth to their room! The only suggestion I'd make is to sell a multiples version for twins. It's a lot of money for 2. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Great Monitor

I couldn't wait to try the Fisher-Price Sproutling Wearable baby monitor out! I think this is a great wearable monitor,i really like that the charging base can be used as a night light and the music/white noise is very nice and useful! I thought it was very easy to use and set up was easy but you will need to change your wi fi password if it has a hyphen or comma in it. This monitor works best when your baby is sleeping in a stationary crib. When I used it in a swing or bouncer it would pick up the movement of the swing or bouncer, not of my baby and it was not as accurate. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Wearable technology

This was an interesting device. Did not depend on results of when the baby was going to wake due to older children that would wake the baby. In a perfect world this is nice product, but like most technology can replace attentive parenting. After a few weeks it is eau to figure out their sleeping patterns. I like this monitor because my 2 month old daughter is a belly sleeper and sleeps through the night. I just have to open the app to make sure her little body is still working as it should. It's a good product but I feel like it could use some work because my daughter is cold while she is awake (which makes it read that she's asleep) and sweats in her sleep (which tells me she's awake). All in all it's a good product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

The good: Sproutling is well designed aesthetically and with great materials. The color scheme is fantastic, and the plastic they used is nice to the touch. The detachable sensor strap is a great design feature that allows you to wash the strap without getting the sensor wet. The choice of USB C cord for charging is good so we don't have to worry about another connector like apple seems to do every 2-3 years. The doc has some nifty features like the ability to play music as well as act as a night light. This is controllable through the app which is nice. The bad: There are several things I found lacking, and since they influence each other I'll list them broadly first and go into detail: The app is slow and buggy, Training is difficult with no feedback, and connecting to the sensor is slow. Sproutling requires a training period to work accurately. I've personally found this process to be rather annoying to the point that I don't think the average consumer will be able to carry it out without making mistakes. There is no feedback to let you know what the sensor initially thinks the baby is doing when you define these periods. You're required first to have the baby wear the sensor and mark down through the app when she sleeps. This is difficult to do because the interface to mark down sleep periods is clunky. You first have to click the sleep button to tell it that sleep has 'started' and then you click it again to tell it that sleep has stopped. Only then can you edit that specific sleep period. A summary appears on the main page but, I've found that when you add a second sleep period, the summary chart says that she was sleeping from the beginning of the first period to the end of the last period. This means I have no way of knowing whether I entered the sleep periods correctly or not. The app contains some bugs which make it annoying to use. I already mentioned above the sleep graph bug. But I found that sometimes when I want to pause music, it will instead get trapped in some kind of loop. i need to unplug the dock and re-plug it to make it stop. Finally, whenever you close the app, when you re-open the app it seems to have to 'reconnect' to the sensor or something which takes a while, and again is annoying. Summary: Sproutling is an ambitious product, but currently has some rough edges. Appearance and major design choices seem great, but the app needs to have some bugs fixed. I believe that this has the potential to be an amazing product. Some days it works beautifully and predicts when and how long my baby will be asleep. Other days, I have a hard time with the monitor. Either it not charging, even though it's on the base and white lights lite up, to baby wearing it and app says it's wearable ready.I think it may need more software updates and it would be golden. I love the concept and like others, would always go check on baby. The sproutling gave me comfort knowing i could check on him from my bed. I love that it plays music and the base lights up (pick a color)for a night lite. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Sproutling setup was simple and straightforward. The product is very sleek and was easy to put on my baby, and the app seems simple and easy to use. Unfortunately, I have the charger in my baby's nursery, and when I put her down to nap in any other room, the charger won't pick up the Sproutling. This means I'd have to log almost all of baby's naps manually, which kind of defeats the purpose. Also, unless you want to leave it on them 24/7, you have to put the Sproutling on right when they're about to sleep... which tends to wake them up! Not sure that this is even a fixable problem, due to the nature of the product being a wearable, but it makes it very unusable for us. Finally, I don't think that the sleep tracking this product offers really adds much to the “what my baby is up to” picture, personally. I am more satisfied with my basic video monitor. The nightlight and music on the Sproutling charger are nice features, but they don't add enough value to make this worth the high price tag. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
