This product was able to keep a 3 year old very interested. Easy to follow directions and kept interaction with player.
Wow, this interactive turtle is worth every penny it costs! Size is huge. I bought it for my son for New Year. It has LOTS of features: question-answer and other modes, electronic display, and more. The buttons are covered with a glossy glass-like plastic. The turtle's head and flippers are firm. Material: hard, solid unbreakable plastic.
We received this toy about 2 months ago and love it!!!! I had been searching high and low for an affordable tablet but wasn't ready to commit to the price and possibility of it being damaged by my two young kids. This came as a great alternative. I keep it put up and pull it out for special occasions. My only complaint is that I wished it had a volume control or a headphone plug. But still it's an amazing product. There are so many games that we haven't even found yet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Best toy for pre school age My daughter loves it so much
I received his toy for free. My 4 year old son loves playing with this toy. He enjoys the lights and sounds. He hasn't put it down since we got it. He has learned how to match words that rhyme. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My daughter loves this toy ! Learning how to rhyme and differentiate different sounds!
My 4 year old child was very interested in the Think & Learn Spell & Speak turtle. The shape of product makes it easy for my child to carry and take it everywhere. My child is learning how to spell and I found the images and words to be very helpful. He was particularly interested in learning letters and utilizing the animated screen. There is an on/off button. It would have been helpful to have a volume button to control the sounds. It can get pretty loud. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This toy is unique in that unlike most toys in it's category it doesn't stress alphabet letters but focuses more on word recognition. It has a whole mode concentrated on learning rhyming words and a game mode that has a little bit of color recognition. This toy will also occasionally encourage your child to get up and move around: maybe by doing the robot dance or something like that. In the first and main mode when you press a word/picture button it will say "Jet starts with J" and so on. Occasionally it will ask the child to find the word that starts with "S" etc. Over all I wish it did a little more but it is still cool in it's uniqueness. This toy did hold my child's interest for a small amount of time, however there is only so much you can do with it. I don't find it as versatile and as entertaining as some of the other toys we have for this age group. There is no add ons or additional things to make the games grow with the child. Overall I would give it a 3, it's not the worst toy but it wouldn't last long with my kids. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Got this for my son and he liked it but wasn't excited about it. He plays with it for about ten minutes and then will switch to sonething else. Its well made and simple but i guess it lacks a wow factor for my kid. He does like the fact that its shaped like a turtle. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
