I was always cleaning my fruits and vegetables with water. I tried the Fit Organic because its going to remove up to 98% of the chemicals and wax than water alone. I can see the difference between water and this excellent product. In the smell of the product you can sense a hint of lemon which a great acid cleaner. I definitely recommend this product to my family, friends, and others because its safer and healthier. Its Organic and natural containing in the ingredients mostly oils of flowers.
I am living in a hotel right now, so fruit is ideal for me as I am nearing the end of my 8th month of pregnancy. Eating healthy and clean is a primary concern for me. Despite all of that, I kept my expectations low of the Fit Organic's Fruit and Vegetable Wash's effectiveness at washing away the pesticides, until I saw the dirt cloud in the basin after soaking some cherries. I have never used a fruit or vegetable wash, but Fit Organic's Fruit and Vegetable Wash was easy with 3 very simplistic steps for use. I will absolutely buy this product again to sanitize the fruit and vegetables I feed my family. Elle in Alexandria, LA
Product is great! I just don't understand why we have to order this product. It used to be available in the produce department??????
I love this stuff! Spray it on your fruit and veggies and watch all that dirt, wax and who knows what disappear!!
Fit is my favorite fruit & vegetable wash. Not only is it very thorough in removing wax and debris from produce, but it rinses far easier than all its competitors. And, as a bonus, my package (shipped for free!) arrived in two days. I have nothing but good things to say about Fit and the service provided by Jet. I use this to wash produce items. It takes the wax off apples and helps kill bacteria such as salmonella. I highly recommend it!
Love, love, love Fit Fruit & Veggie Wash. It does an excellent job cleaning my produce. I've tried other brands, but came back to Fit because it's a superior product. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Are you nervous about pesticides used by farmers? How about waxes and other beautifiers for fruits and vegetables that are added to our food? With ease, this product removes it all. Soak a few minutes then rinse. You will see in the original soak water all the icky stuff that was washed off. I am amazed each time I use it and see the dirty soak water. Also, perfect to use before canning, drying or freezing food. Your food will be free of pesticides and other residues.
Fit Organic Fruit and Vegetable wash is a great product. I bought this product on Walmart.com and had it shipped to the store. When I picked it up, it was smaller than I thought, and some of it had leaked out into the packaging. Not enough to make any difference, but enough for me to feel it. When I used the product it made my apples cleaner and shinier. I felt really good giving my kids clean apples. The product did not leave a taste on the apples, which made me happy. I definitely recommend this product because it really does make fruits and vegetables cleaner. I would recommended buying it straight from the shelf so that it does not have the chance to leak in shipping.
I've always been one to just rinse my produce under running water. I've never tried an actual wash for them. Figured I would give it a try. I soaked our apples in the solution, and the remaining water after the apples were removed was much cloudier than when they went in. It seemed to remove all the wax on the outside. My husband is allergic to something farmers use on apples, but unsure what. Not sure if this will remove whatever that is, but husband will try and apple and see if it made a difference or not.
