Wanted a small swing for the grandkids. This one is just the right size. Got it put together in about 3hrs solo. Only crossthreaded 1 bolt, after a quick trip to the hardware store no other major trouble. Just make sure you used the proper length bolt for the step. The Grandkids love it, couldn't get em off it. Picked up a seperate toddler seat it hooked up easy. Think it will be just fine for the occasional use.
After reading pages of reviews here, I was bummed because of how hard to build and how some came incomplete. Buuuut, we still got them. Luckily our set came complete, what ppl say is missing is a hole, but they send you instructions to how to fix it. Hubby spent about 2hrs building it, alone. And he took his time sorting everything. My daughter ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM! I put christmas lights on the swings, the tubes, and when we surprised her with them, she ran to them. I have 2 other nieces ages, 7 and 2, who she plays with and it is perfect for all of them! I highly recommend them, $99 for them and shipping, was amazing.
We got this set for 74.00, no tax b/c we are in oregon and free shipping to our house! wow! great value, didn't take my husband long to put it together, the instructions were very clear and everything was there. I got this for my daughter's 3rd birthday, and it was perfect! She played on it all day with her friends and even her 11 yaer old brother. The swings are just low enough for her to get on by herself, and the molded plastic helps with that a lot too. The slide is taller than most sets you will find at a decent price, and that is her favorite part! I am extremely pleased with this swing set and I would recommend it!
I bought this swing set for my 21 month old for Christmas, she absolutely loves it. I did however buy a little tikes 2 n 1 snug n secure swing to hook on where the middle swing goes cause I thought she wouldn't be able to swing on a regular swing. She did surprise me and got on the regular swing and was able to swing a little by herself. Although she does mostly use the little tike swing she still has fun on the other ones. The slide is perfect for her she can climb up the ladder and slide down all by herself. This IMO is the best swing set for a toddler. As for the assembly my 15 year old step son put it together ( with minimum help from me) in about 2 hours.
I was hesitant to get this swingset for my daughter after reading the other reviews, but decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did! I bought this for my daughter's second birthday, and it's the perfect size for her (she will probably outgrow it within 2 years, so I wouldn't buy it for a child older than 4). It was a little frustrating to put together, but only because the directions weren't very helpful. MAKE SURE you read all the directions first to make sure you're putting the bars facing in the right direction (we got the WHOLE swingset together, and when we went to add the swings, we realized the top bar was upside down--since the directions didn't specify which way to put it--and it had to be taken apart). Only 1 screw was missing, but I had a similar screw that worked, so it was ok. Took 2 people about 2.5 hours total to completely assemble it. This should work great for a few years, then I'm sure we'll upgrade to a bigger, wooden swingset.
Product is great! Hardware was not all there or correct had to replace a few bolts that were too short and replace a few that were missing. Info says is for ages 2-10 I have an 8 year old that plays on it as well as an 18 month old although the younger one is not quite ready my 8 year old is 55 lbs and almost too big for it. Overall I do believe this was an awsome deal!
Bought this for my 3 yo son. It was easy enough to put together, the directions are fine (pay attention to the different screw lengths). The slide is steep enough to be fun for a couple more years or so, and the swings are just fine. Good basic little set for a great price!
This swing was very hard to assemble for my husband and bother-in-law, it actually took all three of us to put the set together. All of the screw holes were punched incorrectly. Although after it was put together if was a nice swing for the price. This is a small swing set but the perfect size for my daughter who is 2 years old.
Product was just what we needed a small swing set with slide. But when going through the parts we thought it was missing a hole for the slide. But after calling customer support were guided to a second set of directions that no longer needed a 2nd hole. Kids have been enjoying it every day since it was installed.
