I recently bought this drone for my 10 year old grandson. Normally this size drone recommends 14+ so I thought the glove thingy would make it easier. I'm happy to say that it absolutely does! It was so much fun we had to take turns. Very easy to control so we even flew in the house - its pretty big for that and I wouldn't try it with a regular controller. The video/picture taking is solid but the playback of video (on my android) has to be done in the app or you have to download player like VLC - some sort of encoding the basic player on my LG doesn't do. One word of caution though it is a little light so don't try to fly it when it is really windy. Highly recommend!
Just got this a week ago and thought I'd share my experience. I opened up the box and was a bit surprised that the drone seemed bigger than I thought it would - its about 15" from one side to the other. My thinking was that I could fly it inside but was now hesitant. I thought I'd try the control system first since it was a new way to fly - very, very fun. It literally moves with as your hand moves. There is a throttle on the joystick to control the height and the "spin" on the axis. Be careful and do NOT push the throttle full go as it goes up very quickly. It took me about 2 minutes to get the basics down and then was proficient enough to be confident in flying inside. It was a breeze. Ran it outside in a slight wind and even though it is a light drone it handled it well. Got live feed to my phone which was really, really cool. Very much recommend.
Got this a couple of weeks ago and have been very pleased. Great range and pretty good flight time. Fantastic videos. You literally just throw it to start flying and it rights itself. It's not mentioned but you can adjust the camera angle for different views. Flew all over the neighborhood above the trees, you can literally see for miles. This is the drone you're looking for!
Bought this because of the direct feed, loved it because of the motion control. Basically you just move a glove on your hand and the drone goes that way - lots of fun. I put my phone in a google cardboard player and it feels like your flying right in it - very very cool. Highly recommend
This is very cool - I hooked this up to my big screen tv and then took it out for a flight - I flew over the neighborhood and everyone got to watch from a birds eye perspective. It was really awesome!
The actual product didn't match the picture advertised. The instructions were translated from another language to English but you could not understand what it was saying! It wouldn't fly at all it would just flop over. Battery charged for over an hour for the propelers to spin only a few minutes! No instructions what so ever for the camera. We looked eveywhere on the internet for help, info, and apps. We found nothing. No phone numbers just a foreign web site advertising the product. Last but not least the on /off switch broke off after only a day. Needless to say we had a very dissapointed son. We paid 152.00 after tax this cheaply made thin plastic toy is NOT worth the money or wasted time.
