[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new favorite sunscreen. I love the light green tint it gives a nice gentle color correction for my redness. This also LOOKS BEAUTIFUL under makeup and gives me such a smooth base for concealer and foundation.
I am a Latina, with a light to medium skin tone. I love a sunscreen that leaves no white cast. Unfortunately this did leave a slight tint. It is ok for sensitive skin because my skin didn't react negatively. Overall it's fine but could leave you with some white residue
Love this cream! it is lightweight and not greasy and washes off with soap, which is the most major plus for me. I use it all over my body as well as my face.
This sunscreen is super lightweight and absorbs perfectly and leaves no white cast on my medium tone. It also deals with the redness on my skin. I prefer chemical sunscreens but this is yhe only mineral one I like.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not too sure for darker skin. Darker skin types may not like. I have light skin, plus rosacea and this works great for me. Some days I do feel like it makes me look "pasty", however I do not usually wear any makeup. For me it's a five star product, on darker skin I wouldn't think it would look the same. Long story short, I love it.
I got to try this as a compensation for a new product this company sent out for reviews. I usually use Korean or Japanese sunscreen cause I can't stand greasy, white, American sunscreen that stings my eyes and makes my makeup melt as soon as I'm out, in the sun. Hero's sunscreen has become my must-have since then. It's wears like a nice, light face lotion. No weird scent. Doesn't burn my eyes and dries down so I'm shiny all day. Absolutely wonderful formula. Hero has several products that are actually great and even better than luxury brand cosmetics. This sunscreen rivals my K-beauty/J-beauty go-to's. And that's saying something. Try the travel size and see for yourself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Hero Cosmetics Force Shield Superlight Sunscreen is a 100% mineral SPF. It contains 17.53% Zinc Oxide, which protects against both UVA and UVB rays. It also contains multiple ingredients that help to soothe and nourish skin. This SPF is reef-safe and non-comedogenic. It is also alcohol-free, paraben-free, sulfate-free, silicone-free, allergen-free, fragrance-free, cruelty-free, vegan and pregnancy-safe. This sunscreen is a light green color with a light, gel-cream consistency. It applies easily and smoothly when applied with your hands and blends perfectly into the skin. A little of this product goes a long way, so you do not need a heavy hand when applying it. It does not leave any sort of white cast or tint on the skin. It also is absorbed very well and does not leave any sort of stickiness or tacky feeling on the skin. This product is fragrance free and safe for all skin types - even acne-prone skin. Personally, I did find this product to be soothing and moisturizing. It also makes a decent base for makeup application. However, I'm not sure how much of a color correcting effect it really has. My redness was still significantly noticeable after application. Overall, I love how lightweight and absorbent this sunscreen is and I would definitely recommend giving this product a try if you are in the market for a new sunscreen.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This feels nice on my face. The color correction blends nicely, didnt make my face feel greasy. But gave a ni e glow. The mini is cute, but wasn't very full.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new go to sunscreen. It does leave me looking a little oily/greasy for the first couple of hours of the day unless I use my powder foundation, which is the only reason I did not give it a 5/5 rating. If you use makeup daily I don't think this would be an issue.
My current favorite sunscreen! Such a lightweight and hydrating consistency and the green color offsets the severe redness on my cheeks. Only things is I feel like I need to reapply often SPF wise to not burn.
