I don't understand the negative reviews. For me, this has been consistently a wonderful item. Much less fishy than salmon… I cook it in a foil pouch with some habanero infused duck sauce or sweet Vidalia, onion, salad dressing… A few lemon slices, and done. My only complaint is That it is out of stock more often than not. Try this fish you will love it Milder than salmon
Zero Stars!! Package was clearly open and had become rancid with a foul order. 😒
I have bought this multiple times and have enjoyed it. I realized on my last trip to the store that it is actually imported from Turkey. Why isn't this locally sourced in the USA?
this a substitute for salmon. I don't like trout.
I could smell something weird when packing groceries. After going home and putting groceries away I kept smelling something weird in refrigerator. I took the fish out for dinner and realized that was the smell. It still had 3 days of best by date. Had to throw it away.
I ordered salmon, not trout
I ordered this on Walmart website June 1, 2023 and when I pulled it out and started cooking it I noticed a really bad smell… checked the package and noticed that it expired May 31,3023. I will not be ordering fish from here again.
Fish was delivered on time. I took out the fish immediately to bake. This fish cost me a lot of money. I immediately noted a yeasty, non fish smell. It was slimy. It was obviuosly contaminated and dangerous even if I were to cook it. It most likely would have put me in the hospital with possibly a life threatening situation if I had taken even one bite after being cooked. I have tried calling Walmart delivery department, but no answer. I will keep trying to call. I may call the county department of public health regarding this very unfortunate issue.
