Product was delivered on the last day of shelf life Feb 25, so not very fresh and will need consuming today. Product was baked on Feb 22. An instore customer would have avoided this loaf. Not going to try and start a refund, just provide feedback that the order picks should avoid picking last day of life product.
I ordered for grocery pick up. I was going to use it for a Brie cranberry appetizer for Christmas. After I got home and was putting away groceries, I noticed mold spots growing on the bread. Yuck. Do Not Buy. Total Waste Of Money!
Heres the pictures, doesn't it look yummy? Wouldnt you be proud to serve sandwhiches made with this bread??? Freshness guaranteed means nothing, pkg'd on 4/23 best if used by 4/26 today is 4/25. This is the 3rd time i tried this bread. Each time it gets worse. Walmart shops for me so theres no one to blame for the poor quality but them. I truely believe they look for the oldest, worse looking loaf. How do I make sandwiches out of this. The Portage, IN Walmart bakery should be embarrassed to give this away, let alone sell it. They must laugh every time they put bread like this in someones order. Quality doesn't live there anymore
I cut off the end of this loaf to find it completely hollow inside! I got half the amount of bread I expected. The number 1 rule of bread making is to work the air out of the dough! Come on Walmart!
So they sent me old, hard, and not fresh bread that was 2 days ago made and expires tomorrow? And I'm pretty sure there is spots of mold growing. This bread doesn't last long to begin with and your sending me old bread that's not fresh. Look at the pics. I would give it no stars if I could.
Expiration date was the same day I received it and it has slight mold on it. The people fulfilling the order should pay more attention to the dates.
Listing price is $1.00, but they actually charge $1.47!! Almost a 50% increase without notification or consent. Those on strict budgets, beware!
Every single loaf we have gotten in the last couple months have had HUGE holes the center of the loaf. Half the bread for all thr price. Disappointed.
They gave me a loaf that was packaged on the 14th and goes bad on the 17th YODAY IS THE 16th! This is unacceptable.
It was a loaf . But, no bread what so ever inside. We never had this happen. My family loves this bread!
