I was so glad to see Friday the 13th the Series come out on DVD. There has never been another show like it. The stories, acting, special effects, production, and music are all first rate quality. I have bought several copies and given them to friends as gifts. They really enjoyed it. The episodes "The Inheritance", "Helloween", "Scarecrow", "Double Exposure", and "Bottle of Dreams" are incredible and worth the price of the purchase alone. The other episodes are really good as well. The episode "The Badge", features the great tough-guy character actor Val Avery (It's my favorite episode). Buy yourself a copy, pop some popcorn and watch an episode in the dark. You'll thank yourself!

I use to love this series on TV. I was very excited to see Walmart.com had the first series on DVD. So of course I had to buy it! I would highly recommend this DVD.

I love this series when it was shown on tv. It's weird how everyday items can somehow become cursed. Would you go after such items if they were killing people and or bringing people back to life? MMMMMMMMM

It seemed the audio on the shows weren't all that good. I had to turn the volume up. I know its an older tv series, but the sound could of been better.
