I have purchased this fingerless gloves and used them every time I rode. I've put about 12 to 15 k miles on them and today I'm gonna officially retire them. Even I'm a 2XL, was too cheap to pay full retail for my size. They have been sweat on, rained on, thrown on, pulled on, yanked on and still survived a year. Yes, it has holes on both on them, by the thumb, thenar eminence and hypothenar eminence (on the palm side, where the thumb starts and on the outside part as well) If you ever wore fingerless gloves you know it takes a few minutes to remove them, especially after they get wet, sweat included. Overall you can't complain. They did their job and thank GOD, didn't have to test them on a spill. That's the reason I have to retire them now... After a while, you may feel the leather on your fingers start to roll, but that's something you can't avoid bc it's leather... The palm area stayed intact and the stitching still looks good. For what I paid for ($10) they were good. My next pair is a name brand just because they are made of different materials, and want to give them a try.
