I purchased this helmet online when i noticed a price difference of $20 between the online price and the actual store price. For the what I paid, I can't complain. This helmet is comfortable and lightweight. It may seem flimsy compared to some others but for what it cost, I can't expect much more. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a low cost motorcycle helmet.
My helmet arrived early and was exactly what I was wanting. It's perfect. Nothing to hinder your view. The straps are easy to strap and unstrap. Everything about it is perfect. Love my new helmet.
Bought it for use with new ATV - works extremely well, allows for air circulation from the front and venting on the top. With the shield open can place on my XL head easly with eye glasses on - light and functional which is what I was looking for in a helmet.
If you need a helmet without the big sales tag, then this is the one! It looks great and offers all the same amenities of all other helmets but with a very fair price. I looked around and this exact helmet at the Motorcycle shops, were priced at the lowest $179.00. I ordered this helmet online and received it 4 days earlier than scheduled. It is the perfect helmet, especially for women. It is light weight, secure and the clear face shield offers full coverage so much so that you can't tell if i's down or up. It cuts down on the noise level and wind, so those who care about their hair, won't have a problem with this helmet. The air ventilation works great for keeping the shield from fogging up. I love my helmet and use it everyday when riding my Vespa to work while feeling safe driving on the CA roads. This is a MUST buy!!!
I brought this product for my son's to ride their go kart.This product far exceeded my expectations. The gloss finish of the helmets and the sturdy construction made this a great purchase.
I bought this so I could finally ride with my husband. This is the first helmet I have ever owned since I have never rode before. It fit well and did a great job of keeping the wind out of my eyes which was a huge concern since I have contacts and I was worried they would get dried out. I just wish the visor was tinted. It is clear and does nothing to block out the sun. My husband says it shouldn't be that hard to switch it for a tinted one. Read the size chart before ordering. I was sure I would need a large but ordered a medium as recommmended by the size chart and it was correct. The medium fits perfectly.
I ride an early FJR1300 and suffer from a great deal of helmet buffing which could not be solved by adjusting the windshield height. I have experienced a lot less buffing with this helmet. Great on long trips
The shell and visor are of good quality. However, the lining and pads are lacking in terms of stability and workmanship. The most notable issue is where the lining attaches to the shell along the forehead area. Constructed with two separate plastic parts to hold the lining in place , they easily separate causing the lining to flop down over your eyebrows. I had to use Velcro to correct the problem. There are no ear pockets in this helmet to place radio speakers. The vent system seems to work well. Recently, we used these helmets on an ATV 4x4 poker ride where I was the last in the pack. The shield did a great job from protecting my eyes a eating a ton of dust. What dirt did stick to the shield rinsed off with a little bottled water. Again, not bad for the price !!!
I expected a little better padding, I have a full face helmet may by the same co. and it has much better padding. If you were glasses or want sunglass they are a little tight to use with this helmet.
Full shield protects your face from insects. Chin strap model makes slipping it on and off with prescription glasses more problematic than would be necessary with other models which completely separate.
