due to my chronic nerve damage and slipped this I had to hire someone to come put it together for me but this chair is real comfortable and only took 10 minutes to assemble
The Angi handyman, Jose S., was the best man for the job! Since this is my very first time working with this service, they sent me the most professional, reliable and efficient person! Kudos to Angi and Jose S.! I can't wait to use this service again (hope Jose S. Is available)!!
The desk is very nice! however details on oictures for assembly have to b studied closer before starting. My tech did not have much time to study steps and screws as i was dozing off when he came, i was so sorry i made him late! he put 1 of legs in wrong spot; he then had to re- arrange leg, tighten screws again and then when almost done found out it was backwards, the croossbar in back was on front. the holes for the monitor stand were on tje front of the desk instead of back....arrs backwards! i wanted the 2 shelves on left, and 1 shelf for pc or whatever on right, yu guessed it was put together on left side and he put the shelf up not on bottom! it was not put together as i wanted ,,nor as expected. wont do this sgain unless know for sure man is actually great furniture person. i would have done but being 79, not able to work and bent down,get under or get on my knees for more than minute or two. Now have to think whether want to take shelf out or leave as is, looks off to me. give guy 4 for trying but actually he failed me! he gets 3, desk gets 75% as not way i want but people, its great desk, strong😊
An outside service called Angi was used. I had an appointment set for 10am but the tech didn't show up. I contacted him a few times to no avail then received a call from him around 12:30pm. He didn't show up until about 3pm. Upon his arrival he wasn't ready to work and was inebriated. He unboxed everything then took an hour long break. The job wasn't done until almost 11pm.
The assumbler never showed up. After the time (1.5 hours) for assumbly passed, I got a call from customer service asking me for reschedule because the guy had a car problem. I had left him a message when the time passed about half hour. I never got a reply. I think a no show, no call deserve a 0 star if I could. My furniture is still in the box. I am going to find someone else to do it and get my money back.
I paid $79 to have this worthless chair assembled – – the person who came to assemble. It was a decent man from a reputable agency, and certainly was not responsible for the dismal product that it is. I am partially blind, and was not able to completely understand how to use the controls; but was confident that once I looked at the user manual that I would be able to Work the chair. When I sat down today to attempt to read the manual, I saw that the company name was not even listed on the manual, and that there were virtually no instructions for troubleshooting or even for the most basic information. I'm attaching a picture of the total amount of information about the manufacture of this dismal and useless product.
Angi/Handy rescheduled twice and for the two appointments no body showed up or respond to my call/ text or gave me a feedback now I am here waiting for a refund and someone to pick the massive unassembled closet/ armoire and worried for the safety of my 7 year kid as the boxes are huge taking all the space in my small apartment for almost a week! $800 and a walmart membership for a mediocre service. Not even a star for this service
I got the worst and laziest person to come and assemble my dresser. today I was poked by a screw under my son dresser after the bottom seem loose so I went ahead and pulled them all out and realized the guy from Angi did a horrible botched job. I'm not sure if he didn't have the proper tools or just wanted to rush but under my son dressers all the screws are bent and one is completely off causing me to cut myself
Why would they just come any time that they won't and leave my box at the door they said they're coming on Thursday don't just come on Wednesday and leave my box at the door
Assembly man shows up, and he freaked out on the size of the dresser and said, "I can't do this in 1 1/2 hours". and when his time was up, he left and said he would be back in 2 days to finish, but of course he never came back. he said "Angi dont pay him enough money to do his job.
