this item is a great futon option...looks a bit more classy and 'couch' like than a regular futon...have only had for one week but is quite comfortable...even to sleep on...only issue is fabric is slightly rough to the touch and on mat where stitching was placed the slits were cut too wide and white padding shows through otherwise easy to put together...and have had many compliments on design and comfort level
